1 OdpowiedźJust seen that Activision are now being investigated for fraud?
-
It's a shame, but oh well....
-
44 OdpowiedziToo bad for PC! Guess their support stops with this as well. Everyone praising this whole move hasn't mentioned about battle.net, owned by BLIZZARD. (Activision)

Bungie-"Does this new deal include funding to build the wall" Activision-"No we are not funding your stupid wall" Bungie *walks out having temper tantrum* Goes on Bungie.net posts "We are declaring a national emergency to fund the wall" Destiny Community-"This is what our money is going toward... They told us Microsoft would pay for the wall"
-
"taking back" lmao ok. They got dumped. Fired. "I was sick of her anyways!"

2 OdpowiedziWho cares - it won’t effect much at all.

4 OdpowiedziTake back??? LOL they started with activision yall need to calm the hell down, its not like activision was whipping bungie into doing every little detail in the game.
With Forsaken, we’ve learned, and listened, and leaned in to what we believe our players want from a great Destiny experience.
I know, I'm going to get hate for this so go ahead, lol. IMO I think Bungie has a LONG ways to go before they can even say they know what their players want. The lack of communication has fallen way short with this company and how they have treated this game shows they don't know what their player base wants. On top of it saying streamers are "our community leaders" with what happened at the "community summit"? That comment is false. What they should have said as DMG said...
We know we have a long ways to go to earn your trust.
...and explained how they plan on trying to further the communication that has been majorly lacking. I know we all play our part in this in one form or another, but at the end of the day, Bungie is the only one that makes the call. This means they are also the ones that need to put in that effort and not just say they will.

4 OdpowiedziJust don’t start catering exclusively to ‘hardcore’ players. Keep things accessible to everyone, even if the upgrade path is slower for those not doing end game content. Chasing power level keeps people around longer. If you slow it down, but give me plenty of options to get there, fine. If you start locking things like max power or the majority of good gear to raids etc, I won’t bother playing. I think the Niobe puzzle shows you can easily go too far skewed to the smaller hardcore community.

1 Odpowiedź& who will they sell them to next?

1 OdpowiedźFrom Bungie:
Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce plans for Activision to transfer publishing rights for Destiny to Bungie.
"Looking ahead" means D3 and beyond. Hopefully D3 will be the last reset of player progress.

Edytowany przez użytkownika MrMiizii: 1/11/2019 8:01:15 AMI like destiny, it's one of the few games out there that give me consist play time(fun. consistent. playtime.) Either it being pve or pvp. It like both sides and the lore. Sorta like an mmorpg. But ya know smaller. Hate or love alot of us just like to chill out after work or school and murder some mobs of enemies. Along with looking pimp the whole time. Every game has upside and downside. Aslong as the pros stomp the shit out of the cons I'll always consistently play.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - stary
I wonder if Activision just had enough and were glad to release Destiny back to Bungie. Destiny had an intended release date of Sept 2013, but because Bungie rebooted it in July 2013 they couldn't make it. Activision agreed on an extension to Sept 2014. Destiny 2 was intended to be released in Sept 2016. Bungie rebooted the game and changed game director in April 2016. A number of veteran Bungie devs left at this time. Bungie went to Activision and got an extension of a year and then released D2 in Sept 2017 (seems kinda familar...). I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie have just went to Activision to say that they were going to need to reboot whatever they had planned for Sept 2019 and were asking to put it back a year. Edited because I’m an idiot and wrote that D2 was released in Sept 2018. -
29 OdpowiedziThis will either prove that Activision and their oversight was cancer for Destiny, or that Bungie is incompetent and doesn’t understand their player base. We are about to see...
-
5 OdpowiedziBungies incompetence is going to be at full force. They just lost their charisma after halo reach.
-
6 OdpowiedziAnd FULL accountability on what they're doing with the game. Now, there is no one else to blame for screw ups, except themselves. Let's see what happens next. The world is watching....
-
3 OdpowiedziApparently a bunch of bungo employees were getting happy over the split
-
6 OdpowiedziWhat a strange time to do it after a controversy..... Most likely this happened and they got kicked out
-
41 OdpowiedziI'm curious for the reason why they settled to split. Both made a crap ton of money together so I don't see money issues being responsible. It's also hard to see why Activision wouldn't make bungie fully commit to the 10 year deal as well. 🤷 Now we get to see if Activision was the problem or if the same stuff continues on (which I'm rolling with).

Hell YEEEEEEEEEES

7 OdpowiedziThis is huge for the fans and players of destiny . More will come public over the next year but once you know exactly what has taken place I think the fans will be back and support a once great dev who can be great again now there free from the tyrant .
