It'd be a Saturday night, and I'd be kicking back with my fireteam, large Jack Daniels next to me.
We'd start a raid and maybe some of us would be inexperienced or new to it?
But we'd have a laugh and Troll each other, by pushing people off ledges, or instructing them wrongly for the giggles.
But there was no pressure, the mechanics weren't too challenging, and it didn't take long to learn.
As I watch each new raid drop, I watch a stream or YouTube, and sit and think - WTF?
A catalogue of tasks that must be performed, a light level needed that'll take ages to achieve.
Weaponry and armour that you'll have needed to have traded your freedom for.
And RNG drops of exotics, that simply don't happen.
Glue some elitism into the mix as well.
I go into a new raid and I should already be experienced lol
LW dropped and within 48hrs lfg sites were littered with "Must have experience" - within 48hrs??
I'm just saying it just seems like the fun aspect has been ripped out, and replaced with over complicated mechanics.
Perhaps to extend game play?
What ever happened to NORMAL MODE and HARD MODE?
Yeah where did that go?
I'm not struggling, hell I'm 628 pretty much across 3 characters, and have smashed LW out a lot.
I'm just saying how this is all seeming to be heading in the wrong direction.
Where did all the fun go?

2 OdpowiedziThey release the raid to early. They need to give everyone a chance to level and beat it.

Edytowany przez użytkownika diaboliC NOR: 12/12/2018 10:22:10 AMDestiny lacks difficulty levels, they strive for a casual game that can appeal to everybody. Its the biggest mistake i have seen in gaming ever. They need easy(with matchmaking) normal, hard, mythic and legendary difficulty for the raids. Someone like you should maybe be capable of completing hard mode if you really focus with a decent team of casuals. EDIT: And when raids get completed in 24 hours.. 24 HOURS?? You know they are way to easy. I have not played raids in D2, but i can see they are identical in difficulty too Kings fall. Hard under-leveled the first time, then you can do it with one hand the second try.

nice poll , shows how out of touch bungie and destiny2 is ...

Edytowany przez użytkownika MindfulPizza: 12/12/2018 9:42:47 AMWhat about there there just no real in game to join raids . reason most of us hate it , since it not 1995 internet. but we got use 3rd party apps like 1995 to join the raids .

no if anything these are lacking they are over way to quick encounters are not enjoyable these dont feel like raids

I like the direction of the new content. I'm still hating the bullet sponge adds. I feel like they should have similar HP to normal adds, but have punishing damage. This means, practice and add contol are effective at keeping the team alive, while not feeling like you using a water pistol. Taking more bullets does not equal more difficult. It equals slower pace, less fun and annoyance.
-
Git gud. Stop trying to make the game toooooo easy
-
I don't know how hard it is to make a raid that has one or two mini boss encounters that are bullet sponges and then make the last one an even bigger bullet sponge than the first one or two and be done with it. Seriously give a raid boss 10 million HP and between 6 guardians and the most high powered weapons and low ammo count for most of then I bet no one would complain and say thank you. Stop this mechanics must be done to initiate a damage phase shit and just make them bullet sponges with minions running around trying to stop you. It's not that difficult.

The entire game had become over-complicated. Seasonal grind-fest for exclusive Crucible weapon? No way Im going to do that over and over again.
-
Yes, but at one point, I figured they had to. I loved Vault of Glass but in reality, if that came out brand new right now, the first teams would finish it within 90 minutes, because of the simple mechanics.

Destiny 2’s raids are too easy cozmo. Set ups are great but too easy. Last wish was a joke. Wish system is for the casual gamers. Get rid of wish wall. Every one needs to play from the start to the end. Go to riven with the code. Cluster bombs. Little run. And you finished the raid. Its not fair man. Make raids harder !

Totally agree my best team moments from D1 was me not being able to make the jumping part of VoG and failing so hard that all 5 other guys came back to see me fail and laughed at me and emoted..and I was sitting there laughing with them (and I had about 5 beers at that point). The 2nd was me screwing around with 2 other guys--I was drinking wine, the brothers were taking hits from the bong and we were playing PoE, only we decided it would be more fun to keep dropping bubbles and punching shit then actually winning. I think we did that for like an hour before we ended up getting serious and winning.
-
They are not complicated lol.

Its funny how people over rate shooting AI bullet sponges and game puzzles. And its even more laughable how companies create products that cause people to sit for hours with stress that induces racing hearts and minds. All this building of repetition formulates our molecules to be more prone to heart attacks and strokes, some of the leading causes of death. The bible says that the devil is the prince of the earth! Why so serious!?

Can’t comment; haven’t even tried LW or the new one. Can’t even get a team fir a weekly NF! Not sad about it. Gambit is enough for my boredom/angst fix. A bit too old to be railed at by rage squeakers for not knowing, a priori, what plate to stand on/ball to throw at glowing light in the distance as they die fir the twentieth time to a Dreg of supernatural stealth, strength and cunning.

Edytowany przez użytkownika PJ5: 12/13/2018 2:36:24 AMI would simply like to be able to see what I’m doing instead of all the darkness that came with forsaken. There are also too many flashing lights, part 2 of the raid is a seizure waiting to happen.

I raise my glass to you, sir!

I don't mind complicated Raids, but I feel like Raids that are less convoluted get under appreciated. They give you and your team a chance to just take it easy, tell some stories, and still get stuff done. Whereas those Raids that are complicated have moments where there's dead silence because everyone is either focused on what they are doing or listening for call outs. And that's why I feel the Vex have some of the best Raid experiences. Both VOG and EOW offer the same chill environment for everyone to relax, but also experience something rewarding.

Kings fall had great mechanics that made it fun, Really the final encounter should be the most demanding mechanic wise
-
-
Yes. When you have to explain encounters ggor twenty minutes and many have Insta wipe mechanics..its not a fun social experience. Create raids casual guardians at the right light level can complete and Have difficulties or challenge modes for for those that want that level of play. This waymall guardians can enjoy all the content and rewards.
-
Me and my friends drink and casually do a raid once in a while. We didnt find any of them over complicated once we learnt it. They are not easy but then again me and my friends are usually fairly buzzed lol so far we have all had a good time beating all the raids and we also use LFG to fill spots
-
I’d rather see Vault of Glass mechanics again.
-
Strikes are basically not complicated raids 👉

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Guardian3681: 12/12/2018 3:31:10 AMI liked the raids where one guy could carry the team like with crota or in the Templar fight. Running around with that magic kite in VOG was the most fun thing in PvE imo I’d also really like to replay WOTM. Was a really fun one
