When Bungie says machineguns are coming back but only adds 2.
Machineguns arent really back when all we have is thunderlord and the hammerhead.
Edit: Does no one see the irony in all the people whining about people whining in the comments. I just pointed out how underwhelming it is to call a weapon class "back" when its barely got its foot in the door because they added so little.

I have both defended and critiqued bungie on the launch and handling of black armory. Some of you need to relax.
Edit 2: I know the dawning added a new machine gun but it doesnt change the lack of the weapon type. Now we have 2 legendaries and an exotic, not to mention the dawning machine gun will probably be time limited to the event meaning after the dawning the game will be back to 2 available to the average player.

5 OdpowiedziAlright, so how many machine guns do you want? How many does there really need to be? Machine guns are going to stay within one archetype by the looks of it so there is no need to add more unless they make more archetypes than 450rpm.

Bungo also hyped up the introduction of the bow. So while we got 5 with Forsaken’s launch; the solar bow is lock’d behind the raid (that 1.7% of the PS community have finish’d) and there has yet to be one introduced to the Gambit, Crucible, Vanguard or Iron Banner vendors. So I don’t expect Bungo to see the light and learn from these mistakes.

5 OdpowiedziI miss D1 having common and rare variants of every weapon type and those variants could roll with some nuteso perks. I got a scout in D1 with luck in the chamber. I want rare bows and rare machine guns. Gimme a common trace rifle that looks like it was cobbled together from stolen fallen tech and barely does any damage. USE THE LOOT POOL BUNGIE GOD DAMMIT

Bungie could have gotten away with it if we could still change the element damage because with random rolls, the 2 Hammerheads I have are completely different guns. If I could put Solar on 1, it'd be great. But, I get you. I criticized Bungie on Day 1 of BA about it. In fact, if you look at the BA Badge, there are almost as many Shaders and Emblems as there are new guns and armor. Thats sad.

3. But let's be real a machine gun is a machine gun. It's kinda like rockets... there are options out there but you only really need 1.. after that the rest are irrelevant since they all pretty much do the same thing.

I'm sure there will be more, eventually. You do know that all Black Armory weapons and gear are invisible - i.e. not listed - in your collection until you actually receive them. Nearly positive they will release another one for IB.

It wasn’t until taken king where more was released. Now that machine guns are reintroduced to D2, and there are only two machine guns why are you whining? Bungie will release more in the future. All this talk about nothing really when there are bigger things to discuss.
