Bungie, wanna explain to me why our team in gambit for our second round, how we managed to get our primeval to half health, and the opposing team had there primeval at full health, and I even went to invade and killed two to three of the opposing team, and WITHIN THE MINUTE THEY TOOK THERE PRIMEVAL DOWN BEFORE OURS? What was it in your patchnotes that said you were gonna be reducing that opposing team buff? Or was that yet another thing saved for next week with the new dlc, when it really wont matter?. I even preordered the annual pass like a fool. Now I'm -blam!-ing done. Deleted. Goodbye. Either make good on what you say your gonna do or more players will leave. Plain and simple

Because two warlocks with geomags can instakill a primeval with two slayer stacks. Coordination beats a bunch of idiots shooting it at times 6 with primaries.

4 OdpowiedziCoordinated teams have no problem melting primevals on 0-1 stack. As for randoms, most of them melt on 2-3 stacks. Ive been getting hatemail all day yesterday because I played as a coordinated team. "No way, could you guys melt the primeval just as it came up" "Stop invading with a sniper" Randoms just cant fathom losing, so some of them just blame others.
-
They really need to change the mechanics and/or health of the bosses but this was the quick and easy bandaid they could put on it at the moment. Apparently the wound was too big for a bandaid

5 OdpowiedziDoes anyone else feel like pve gambit enemies randomly start doing a ton of damage? And cyclops one shot now? What's up with that?

3 OdpowiedziWhen op forgets the enemy team has access to melting point, supers and heavy too.
-
Maybe the game saw all the bad grammar and decided you weren't worthy of winning

Edytowany przez użytkownika WulfPak666: 12/1/2018 2:34:57 PMAll they did was make it so the second team doesn't auto start with bonus Primeval slayer buff. But if your team already has a melt setup, you don't even need Primeval slayer anyway. (So essentially they fixed nothing unless you vs nobodies) Heck, kill the 2 wizards (which takes like 2 seconds) Melting point the boss and super/heavy spam his ass and he dead just like that. The only boss you can't insta kill is the meatball just because he gets his little baby immune pods every time you chunk his health bar.
-
Don't invade while their primeval is at full health, you negate the point of killing opposing guardians to regen primeval health. I usually go in when it's about a 3rd down, rockets and supers then go back in again with rockets, effective and fun.
-
Mad cos bad. Good teams can melt at 0-1 stacks.
-
They were just more co-ordinated than you. A good team can melt a boss in seconds.

1 OdpowiedźI finally got my meatball to spawn after 160+ matches. After that quest is done, I'm out. Ha I personally don't find gambit enjoyable. The only thing I would add is that the enemies would also shoot at the invading guardian. Ramp up the risk reward of invading.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika CannyJack: 11/30/2018 8:02:58 PMThe primeval is no longer really a significant portion of the fight (unless it happens to be the meatball, which can nullify cheeses if the immunity shield comes up at the right time). You have to kill it to win, but with the "no Primeval Slayer needed" burn strategies out there, it's much more important to make sure you have the primeval while the other team is at stuck at 20 motes. Basically, the reliable win comes from invading the other team and denying motes. This was always the case, but now it's even more important (approaching essential) because the Primeval fight can potentially be only like, 30 seconds long. If you and your opponents are neck and neck, it's anyone's game. If you make sure they never get past their first invasion, it's in the bag. (Note: if this comes off like Here's The Advice Of Pro, sorry about that - I'm no pro. I have a just-under-50% win rate, but the easy wins are when my team never lets the others accumulate any motes)

1 OdpowiedźWith the right setup, you can blitz a Primeval in seconds at ×2 stack. Sounds like you got beat by a team with a better melt strat than you. Or one that abused Well/Synthos.

6 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika DFGking: 11/30/2018 3:04:20 PMI have one better for you we won round 1. Round 2 starts “Hostiles at the Trees” we get there and there are only 5 Enemies. FIVE TOTAL. We kill them take the 5 notes and go to deposit and boom 2 -blam!-ing taken on ogre blockers spawn. Wait it gets better we kill the blockers no problem. “Hostiles at the beach” we get there aaaaand........ let me go make myself a drink while I wait for the enemies to spawn in. Meanwhile another large blocker and we only have 5 motes in to their 60+ because there are no enemies on the field.

2 OdpowiedziWhen you get your Primeval, Use supers first! Gather your allies orbs they generate- Then you might gab me a 2nd super, Now burn up any heavy ammo You should have Primeval down to half by now, If you look at him . . . You should be able to see the runway at 300 feet. Aim the touch down a third of the way along. There's a slight crosswind from the right, so be ready for it. Land too fast, use your emergency brakes. Red handle's right in front of you. If that doesn't stop you... If that doesn't stop you, cut the four ignition switches over the copilot's head. Do you see us now? You should be able to see the field, now. There it is. There he is! Striker, you're coming in too fast! Sound your alarm bell, now! Put down 30 degrees of flap! Striker, now listen to me. Remember your brakes and switches! Get ready to flare it out! Hold up, harder! Put down more flap! Striker, lift your nose. Straighten your wings! Coming in too fast. Watch your speed. Coming in too hot! Ease up on the throttle! Watch for that crosswind. Level it out. Aim for the numbers. You'll have to dip your left wing. You're drifting. Keep your eyes on the far end of the runway. You're too low, damn it! Watch your stall speed. Flare out! Now ease her down! Down! The brake! Pull the red handle!

Synthoceps+Well glitch. Had it happen quite a few times yesterday. All good, I prefer to win without cheating.
-
You don’t need stacks of primeval slayer to melt the boss. Hit the boss with melting point or tractor cannon and 3 blade barrages or 3 chaos reach supers and the boss melts in 3-5 seconds.
-
How about the blatant use of aimbot and lag hacks. I invaded and was killed before my damn screen loaded.
-
They should consider changing their name to Bullshit since that’s mainly what we’re seeing from them.
-
Titan and warlock cheese.
-
I think somebody just threw down the gauntlet!
-
2 OdpowiedziThey DID get rid of the catch-up stacks, the enemy team just melted the boss without any stacks. It sounds like you are just bad, and considering you rage deleted the game and blamed bungee for your loss with no research, you also sound mad
-
Burning down a primeval in 3 seconds is still easy for a coordinated team. The right mix of debuff and burst damage abilities chews right through them all, except Meatball, without even bothering with the envoys.
-
Other team had a better primeval melting setup?
