Xur should start selling forsaken exotics
I mean ok, exotics have to feel unique and hard to obtain so it feels rewarding, we had a full season of farming to get the most we can. Personally I have only 3 without the quests ones, and I've played with my 3 characters most of the weeks. But if every season will increase the number of exotics avalible we need new ways to obtain them too. Adding the last season exotics to Xur's inventory, the ones what have been tested, nerfed and balanced from now doesn't seem that insane. Bungie probably wouldn't even consider this but I think most of the player base would agree with me. What do you think?
Edit: I'm not saying exotics should be granted, I like how they really feel like a reward, I jumped out of my chair when trinity ghoul dropped, it was amazing. But maybe there's a middle point, like putting forsaken exotics in fate engrams from Xur, even if they double the cost (since legendary shards are easier to get nowadays) or bringing back three of coins and at least make sure your chances go higher if you grind activities. Just new ways to adquire them if there's even more of them now.

If selling them directly is too scary just put them in fated engrams. 1 guaranteed Forsaken exotic per week per account isn’t going to hurt. It will make people happier.

2 OdpowiedziI dont think at this point exotics are rare or unique anymore. First they all going to get nerfed lol, some already have gotten the hammer. And by time we even get a handful they will be overshadowed by new ones that we cant get which will get nerfed before the community gets their hands on it and most of us will fall back on Y1 exotics that are at least half decent and havent gotten nerfed

I feel like they should put forsaken exotics in xur's inventory, but *not* in his fated engrams. I feel like that's a nice middle ground because with the fated engrams, you'll eventually start being guaranteed forsaken exotics, but if he could only *sell* forsaken exotics, you're subject to his inventory each week. It would slow the flow of exotics enough that it wouldn't feel like D2 Y1 where they passed exotics out like candy. Instead it's like D1, which, to my knowledge, people aren't *averse* to.

Forsaken has been out for about 2 1/2 months now, there is no reason why Xur shouldn't be selling Forsaken exotics. He doesn't even need to directly sell them, but at the very least they should be put into the fated engram, one new Forsaken exotic a week, doesn't that seem fair? Because so far in the about 10 or 11 weeks I have had Forsaken I have gotten 2 forsaken exotics, Lord of Wolves and Shards of Galanor (And I don't even use Way of a Thousand cuts that much anymore) And the sad thing is that I know that I am one of the lucky ones! There are some people who have been grinding for hours and hours since Forsaken's launch and have not gotten a single new exotic. It's stupid, there should be other ways to get exotics other than just praying to whatever runs the rng over at Bungie HQ. One new Forsaken exotic every week. Doesn't that seem fair? Also, does anyone know if Xur will sell Black Armory exotics? Lol he probably won't because why would Bungie just take like a week to fix a vendor that has been useless to 99.98% of the player base for the past few months?

Maybe release them after each season while current season exotics won't be in xurs loot pool.

I like this idea. I'm down with keeping exotics rare, but now that there are new ones to discover, it makes sense to make the old forsaken ones a bit more available. Even adding them to fated engrams only, as others have suggested, would be enough. If they keep adding exotics that much faster than people can get them, things will get frustrating

1 OdpowiedźYou're complaining when you have three and I'm over here like 'I don't have any'. I play all three characters every week, not one drop, I'm probably going to go on hiatus. It seems I have to take an extended break from every Destiny game lol. There's just no reason to play.

At least one forsaken gun or armor out of his whole loot pool every week ... 1 new thing a week

I bought forsaken last friday and currently have 6 non quest exotics.. don’t hate me yet.. i got two exotics in one day, two tailed and wavesplitter

6 OdpowiedziThey just can’t let that happen. They made them hard to obtain, because there just isn’t that many. Hell if he did sell them everyone would be back here bitching in 2 weeks , because that’s all the longer it would take to rotate through the new armor pc’s . Might take an extra week for the few weapons they have. That is the main reason they won’t update him. Just not enough new exotics in this DLC. Starting to think they’re bringing back the old exotics from D1, because they are out of ideas on how to create new ones, so we just get a new old watered down versions back.

10 OdpowiedziThat’s a bad idea. Clearly exotics are an alluring part of gameplay and keeps players engaged. Bungie has been graceful so many times to change around this game for us and this is its best state. If you want exotics you’re just going to have to grind for it man. I was on this boat before but I realized that once you get all the exotics the game becomes pretty old after using them repeatedly.

4 OdpowiedziWhy dont place Xur at the end of a Raid? Or you can visit him when you did some dreaming city challenges!? That way, people actually have to invest into the game and get rewarded afterwards (if they choose to).

Just bring back the Nightfall exotics Rewards and it’s fine. Exotics are back to where they should be. But Xur could sell needle for reroll the armor.

6 OdpowiedziIt’s dumb man iv done every single possible thing to do every week on all 3 characters and have 3 forsaken exotics (other than quest) and 36 raid completions and no thousand voices I’m sick of wasting my time trying to get stuff I’m not guaranteed to get

I still have not gotten any forsaken exotic weapons that aren't quest ones.

I’d be happy if he even started selling useful Y1 exotics. He hasn’t sold rigs, nighthawk, synthiceps, or Luna boots either
