I've been grinding these pvp quests as I now have time. But this glory rank system is dead. Matched up with bad team mates and get throttled. Lost so much exp in glory it's disgusting. Just stop for a loss not take away.

Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. Watch Youtube strategy videos from Coolguy, True Vanguard, CammyCakes, Aztecross Gaming Super Mods, weapon scavenger perks, targeting Mods, Reload Mods, Dexterity and resilience Mods. Masterwork armor for more defense while in super form

I wouldn't worry about glory until you finish up all the quest steps. This will give you tons of practice for when you go for the 2100 glory grind. Also its easier to kill other guardians that are below 500-1000 glory for the quest than killing guardians that are 2100+.

Use your clan and make a team...

Which is why losing glory points needs to go!!!!! Some get the guns faster then others is just fine!

3 OdpowiedziWhat If you dont loose points until you hit fabled, simple fix letting those who dont like to get groups get the gun while keeping the playlist competetive for those looking to get NF

7 OdpowiedziI agree, treat glory the same as legend in gambit, no points for a loss and make the increments you get for a win smaller! This way will make certain weapons accessible for more but you would still need to win so if people aren’t great at pvp it would be a big grind to achieve fabled or legend but would make weapons not impossible to reach!

It's not exactly made for soloists... Create a team, practice with each other, and then go compete...

10 OdpowiedziKind of kills the point of comp since eventually with tine, you'll play enough crap teams. Loss penalty is easy to handle anyway. Yes it sucks. But a couple winstreaks and your easily gaining enough that its ignored.

5 OdpowiedziI just don't understand why people think it makes sense to play competitive with random matchmade teammates. There are enough team-finding resources that there is just no excuse for expecting a matchmaking system that only has win rates and current player ranking with which to estimate skill to be doing all of the work. Luna's can literally be done in a day or a few days with decent players. If you find a group to join and you're the bad one then you either need to train yourself more or hope they're willing to carry you, but until that happens there's nothing to blame for your losses except your own unwillingness to take a logical approach to gaining rank.

2 Odpowiedziyou just have to play smart. lose a few? stop playing for a while, dont carry on and ruin your score. if they take away the losing points for a loss then everyone will be able to do it, which shouldnt be a thing! it should be a challenge for better weapons.

2 OdpowiedziYour playing at a bad time, Forsaken has been out for a while now so all the casual players have been and went and all that’s left are hardcore. That means there’s a small population playing comp so match making are putting together worse and worse lobbies. My advice is just get all the step quests done up until hit fabled. Then when the next update is released go for fabled straight away.

It’s not dead, being bad doesn’t mean you’re right

There is truth in this post.

8 OdpowiedziIt wouldn’t matter! I’m trying to grind Gambit and all I need is 3 more wins to reset and when you lose 10 games in a row which takes hours and see your rank has not moved at all and realize that tomorrow is reset and I can’t even win 3 games. That is beyond frustrating!

Goes negative, blames team, good one!
