Figured I bring over this point I made elsewhere.
Handcannons losing Aim assist mid-gunfight, or losing the ability to return on target because of weird Aim-assist tracking would be nice to fix
Edit: Updated to all weapons based on what people have told me.

1 OdpowiedźWhat bothers me is locking on a target, only to have another enemy run past them and "steal" the aim assist, dragging my scope away from what I was aiming at lol

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika ││█║▌│: 11/15/2018 8:47:06 PMIt isn't just hand cannons, I've had this happen several times using scout and auto rifles. I've also noticed that aim assist sometimes just doesn't activate at all, even with multiple opponents close together. I've always thought aim assist was broken in Destiny 2, because it's inconsistent and bizarre. It is one of the reasons I do not consider the gun play to be on par with the first game, where the only real issue with aim assist was pulling off target, or swiping at a cursed Thrall.

Personally I feel this is down to lag, much like hit recognition suffers so does aim assist.

3 OdpowiedziHi. Thanks for your report. Could you link me to a video of this occurring? It may help with an investigation.

6 OdpowiedziAre you sure you're not just getting excited? It's easy to lose your cool mid-fight, and hand cannons really start to go down hill if you're not taking your time.

A similiar effect happens to the high rof handcannons like trust or malfeasence in which they stall when your trying to shoot at your target.

indeed.
