This is why comp is hot garbage
You can literally play a 4stack with all 3kd+ and higher and still lose to an average team because they use some combination of insanely OP items that are distributed through RnG like Wavesplitter, Telesto, One eyed Mask, Super mods, Shards of Galanor, Stand Asides, Warfcliff etc etc.
A game mode that favors crutch item use over gunskill is broken at its' core and to call that competitive is a joke.

So now, everyone relies on one shot mechanics like shotguns, telesto, proximity grenades, and supers. In any other FPS game, if you decide to go off meta, you can still do just fine.
