The Current Drop rate of Exotics is horrible and a slap in the face of everyone who paid for forsaken.
Every dedciated player should have been able to unlock the majority of the Forsaken Exotics by now.
Bungie reduces the drop rate to a all time low and refuse to let Xur the EXOTIC MERCHANT sell any of the new Forsaken exotics.
It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"
I say NO. It makes it tedious and annoying. I end up having to treat this game like a second job to spend 40+ hours for a chance to unlock content I already paid for. These exotics were front and center in the advertising of this expansion alongside Cayde's death. And in these 2 months after release I've only unlocked 2 new out 6 drops. [spoiler]Fighting Lion droping in Haunted Forest, Are you serious Bungie?[/spoiler]
This is a problem that needs fixing for the majority of us and Bungie needs to respect the time, energy and more importantly THE MONEY we put into this game.

It has made no difference to me, it took 3-4 weeks to get my first exotic. I have collected lots of decent weapons with good rolls. I have no expectations on exotics so I was never disappointed. I play destiny for lots of reasons but not exotics.

596 and no Y2 exotics. One of my clan mates received two in one day and he was 555. Just does not seem right, rng or not, not right.

I really dont think the drop rates are that bad on exotics in general. I've gotten a decent amount of drops but problem is most are y1 duplicates. Duplicates are definitely a problem. Just got my first forsaken exotic today(two tailed fox) but have had at least a 2 exotic drops on average a week I would say between powerful engrams turn ins and random in the wild engrams. Hopefully the duplicate protection will start to balance what we get when the exotics do drop which should help to balance things to a good place. I'll say when I got that drop today it's the first time I've been excited to get a drop since D1.

I'm 600 on all three characters and the only new RNG exotic I've gotten is Queenbreakers... And this is for almost 80 exotic drops.....

5 OdpowiedziComplain complain complain is all I am hearing from you guys the drop rates are too low or I can't get this or get that the game is to hard. Everyone get over your self try and play a MMO or something where u have to grind 5000 hr to just get a piece of gear u need and then found the drop suck ass. So sad too see so much hate for no reason.

Once i get those the want to play will drop significantly since there isnt a solid place to farm for exotics outside of raiding for 1000 voices. The idea of just grinding without a gurantee pay off isnt too appealing. I don't mind grinding haunted forest since I'll get the horror story eventually but grinding milestones for a chance of something new is meh. And i know I've said this before but i don't hate rng. Heck monster hunter is one of my favorite game series and thats filled with rng grinding. However if i want a sword i know exactly what activity i need to grind for the needed materials. Need a rath ruby just farm rathalos. I want two tailed fox? No clear activity to repeat. Be nice if all exotics were tied to a quest that way there'd be a goal to go for.

I got two in one day last week. 2 Forsaken guns. Don't think I'll use them, but I have them. You might just be unlucky.

I can dig duplicate protection buts its useless when you have to spend a lifetime getting them to drop. Maybe add some new functions into the end game: [b]Exotic Medallion:[/b] 200 Legendary Shards (lasts four hours - only one can be purchased per week) [i]Greatly increases the chance of Exotics dropping in the crucible or from defeating challenging enemies[/i]

I got that Fighting Lion from the event Haunted Forest and I was like wtf? Desmantle right away I wanna spend my time in crucible but all I see is shotgunners camping or running and hide from you until you get in front of them

It's amazing just how stubborn Bungie is. Even when given pretty clear feedback (exotic drop rate, infusion) they refuse to budge until it's too late. No one is asking for hand outs. We're just asking for things to be more fair.

And give you a choice of either armor or weapons. They are guaranteed new and xur will sell glass needles if you need to re roll armor

Since Forsaken launched i have received roughly 20 exotic engram drops in the wild. 9 Otherside sparrows Shards of Galanor Numerous year 1 items Ace of Spades. The Ace of Spades was the real slap in the face here, come on really a questline exotic in the engram loot pool? Now just yesterday my clan mate who plays a couple hours per week, joins in on some EP, a new to destiny player. Within 30 minutes at EP gets 2 exotics to drop (Queenbreaker and Orpheus Rig) plus the EP sniper. Meanwhile I'm almost 90 EP completions in with no shotgun. Another buddy also play maybe once per week has the Wavesplitter and two tailed fox. So my opinion, the more you play, the less you receive.

The drop rate of exotics are fine,but whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

What I would like to see if a chance of getting already required exotics with better rolls. All my exotic armor roll are from the collection and the few I've gotten are trash rolls. Ima hunter all my good exotics for pvp and pve are in year 1.

Number one reason I’m not playing as much. Took 7 weeks to get one exotic. To be truthful most of them suck. I’m have more fun with a game that rewards you for playing. And I don’t have to do anything but put time in. No RNG I know what I’m getting.

The drop rate is perfect right now, the problem is duplicates.
