Every dedciated player should have been able to unlock the majority of the Forsaken Exotics by now.
Bungie reduces the drop rate to a all time low and refuse to let Xur the EXOTIC MERCHANT sell any of the new Forsaken exotics.
It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"
I say NO. It makes it tedious and annoying. I end up having to treat this game like a second job to spend 40+ hours for a chance to unlock content I already paid for. These exotics were front and center in the advertising of this expansion alongside Cayde's death. And in these 2 months after release I've only unlocked 2 new out 6 drops.
Fighting Lion droping in Haunted Forest, Are you serious Bungie?
This is a problem that needs fixing for the majority of us and Bungie needs to respect the time, energy and more importantly THE MONEY we put into this game.

It may be a little low, but I am enjoying the content right now, so I don't mind. I just finally got my first seed of light this weekend, and I was excited. I like that I haven't blazed through the content so quickly and there is more and more to pursue. Just my opinion.

I've gotten 10+ exotic drops since forsaken dropped and they were all duplicates. FML

These posts really confuse me. I understand people being upset if there are bugs or issues causing the drop rate of certain items in the game to function incorrectly (whether it's an exotic, the Prime Servitor, or anything else) and I'm with you if that's what we're talking about. Outside of that, you are playing a looter-shooter game with RNG elements. Yes, there are certain items and quests with clearly-defined avenues for obtaining certain things in the game. But part of the experience of playing Destiny is the RNG. Grinding for that god-roll weapon or whatever other RNG you need. And yes, there are some people who have amazing RNG and have gotten 20 exotics and there are people who have gotten zero. I understand people's frustration, but at the same time you need to be aware of the experience you are consciously participating in. I'm not saying that exotic drop rates right now are where they should be, and I'm not saying that the system is perfect. But I feel like at this point, too many people are complaining about the core experience of the game. Exotics should be exotic. And I think this was said before, but if someone had managed to acquire every single Forsaken exotic by now, that would be pretty ludicrous.

5 OdpowiedziI am confused, please explain how rare items being actually rare are a slap to the face for who paid for forsaken, do they drop more often for those who didnt buy it? You speak as if having to grind for some powerful (how powerful is debatable) one of a kind gear is some kind of atrocious and unmeasurable task, it almost sounds as if they should all have been transfered to the vault the moment you bought the game. Yes it is frustrating to not see that sweet exotic drop and to get a Year one when they do drop, duplicates being the only real issue with current exotics, something thats going to be fixed (at least they say it will be), we were spoiled by pre-Forsaken rates and got used to the far too common exotics, it didnt matter much back then, as they were little more than yellow colored legendaries. Now they have broken that stale, a dime a dozen exotics trend and become powerful (again how powerful is debatable, but still far better than what we first had) and feel like actual exotics, put the issue out of your mind, think like this, exotics are not the content you paid for but rather the one of a kind reward for playing said content, relax, enjoy the rest of the game and don't live for that exotic drop and when it finally drops you will see that it will feel all the sweeter. Worst case scenario, when the new batch of exotics arrives the forsaken ones will join the list from Xur. When did we get our first exotic back in D1? here we were already being given one by lvl 10, how long did we grind for that ice or gally?

Wait there are exotics in this game, Thought they might have removed them, alone added some ..
-
So true, i will no longer play this MONEY SUCKING game. Iv'e spent much time farming, doing daily and weekly stuff before Forsaken that I had a nice stash off stuff, wich i practically all lost because of Forsaken. Then wasted 300 Legendary shards on exotics i already had. It feels like I've been robbed of €40,-. Going back to Halo, wich is almost the same only better and faster. And skill instead of Mario Kart Supers. Maybe if there comes PvP without Supers ill come back.

i think they are trying to make exotics be like legendary items from WoW legion, where they can drop from most activities and rares but at a super low rate and that’s okay. if you see a hunter with shards of galanor or a demon hunter with anger of the half giants you actually understand how rare that item is and not everybody will be running around with it. they don’t have anything to do with skill but they are rare drops that are extremely good.
-
I like the drop rate of exotics, it makes me feel excited about chasing loot. Hopefully I’ll get more forsaken exotics when they push out that next patch
-
I have 3 characters on PC all 570+ and now 2 on PS4 which are about 550 in 3 weeks. I have gotten 3 exotics to drop in total. Only 3... 2 on PS4 and 1 on PC. Not a single one was new. 6 weeks 3 exotics and nothing i didnt already have. At least bring back 3ofC for christ sake.
-
why are you so upset, and who slapped you? perhaps they didn't slap hard enough to bring you into reality. the game isn't get all the exotics, having them or not doesn't stop you from doing any activity. they are a goal to shoot for, not a necessity, how are people so upset they don't have "X" yet?
-
3 OdpowiedziEverything about forsaken is not just a slap. It's a spit on faces of fans who want something better. We have been asking for masterwork core removal and this trash company won't give us that. It's unbelievable the extent they will go to justify the BS stance.
-
I've had 1 Forsaken exotic drop, Cerberus +1, a few hours later...guess what? Yup another cerberus. Besides a few repeat armour pieces and Prospector, that's it, nothing else. Personally I'd change prime engrams to guaranteed exotic drops, really don't want another 600 light edge transit or vestian dynasty from primes.
-
I don’t even care if they’re rare.. My issue is the damn duplicates. I’m only like 14 consecutive Y1 exotics and it’s the most discouraging thing. My warlock has had zero new exotic drops.. and I have logged a TON of hours since forsaken launch.
-
7 OdpowiedziMy call is once black armoury hits, Forsaken Exotics will be added to Xur's loot pool. Now, this actually makes sense on how Xur "should work." He sells stuff you have already had the chance to acquire to complete your collection. Hopefully I am right.
-
every exotic except for one eyed mask is terrible. id rather have a chance at a good rolled dreaming city or gambit weapon than a cerberus.
-
After 15 exotics I finally got my first forsaken-exotic yesterday. And guess what. I am totally fine with it. In D2 Vanilla you were „meh“ about exotics, but now you really get hyped. I’m glad that they won’t change the rate of exos.
-
I’m fine with the drop rate, pissed off that the last 6 exotics have all been duplicates
-
I've gotten seven exotics so far.... 6 were duplicates
-
Cry about it more
-
No issue with drop-rate for me, I've only had a dozen so far but I take issue with WHAT drops when you do eventually get an exotic drop. I got Shards of Galanor (pity only exotic armour is on secondary character - main Warlock), Queenbreaker, Trinity Ghoul and Black Talon but I've had 3 Hard Lights and 2 Jade Rabbits, Crimson and 2 of the Crown helmets for Warlock. I'm glad they're going to make changes so duplicates happen less often and that armour will be favoured, I don't mind getting new rolls of different older armour pieces.
-
Buy silver and it boosts exotic drop rates by 25%
-
Move it to the feedback forums.
-
2 OdpowiedziI’m fine with the drop rates. I’ve gotten 19 exotics so far in forsaken, and 5 of them have been new.
-
2 OdpowiedziSpeak for yourself! It was lower in vanilla d1 unless you raided. I am a dedicated player, but maybe have 150 hour since forsaken dropped. I have had around 20 exotics drop. Sure only ONE outside of the quests was new, but I’m getting rare but reliable drops. The changes will be welcome to me. Exotics should feel exotic and now they do. We were given them like candy for 3 1/2 years and I think this update will put them in the right place. Hell, with all the bitching I’m betting the drop rate will even be ninja buffed.
-
What is this obsession with exotics? Do you not play this game for fun?
-
My first forsaken exotic weapon was the One Thousand Voices, I've has about 8 to 10 weapon duplicates
