Every dedciated player should have been able to unlock the majority of the Forsaken Exotics by now.
Bungie reduces the drop rate to a all time low and refuse to let Xur the EXOTIC MERCHANT sell any of the new Forsaken exotics.
It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"
I say NO. It makes it tedious and annoying. I end up having to treat this game like a second job to spend 40+ hours for a chance to unlock content I already paid for. These exotics were front and center in the advertising of this expansion alongside Cayde's death. And in these 2 months after release I've only unlocked 2 new out 6 drops.
Fighting Lion droping in Haunted Forest, Are you serious Bungie?
This is a problem that needs fixing for the majority of us and Bungie needs to respect the time, energy and more importantly THE MONEY we put into this game.

5 OdpowiedziOh -blam!- off, you don't speak for me or anyone else. I like the drop rate. I think it's perfect and I am sick of pathetic, whiney and desperate sounding people like you. It's actually embarrassing how desperate you sound. Get some pride.

2 OdpowiedziIf people really think exotics are the only thing keeping people playing: What about nightfall highscores and loot/catalysts? What about the shattered throne every 3 weeks? What about crucible and gambit ranks? What about triumphs? What about the raid and its loot (glittering key, 1k, alt emblems)? What about limited time events (IB, Trials, Factions, Crimson Days, Festival, Dawning)? Truly, exotics are only rare in their perks

45 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika TheShadow-cali: 10/22/2018 8:14:33 PMI saw this coming a mile away. Personally, exotics mean nothing in this game to me anymore so I don't really care what I get. What I do care about is how empty the loot system is in this entire game that is disappointing. For a loot and shoot, I have found that forsaken is majorly lacking in every aspect of it and Bungie is trying to use the over grind as a sense of value? I wish they would learn what incentive actually means. I mean, learn it, live it, love it. Incentive is what makes a game, not boring repetitive grind making the game a pointless bounty game that maybe if the RNG is nice it will give you something. This game should be flowing with all kinds of new loot and I'm not talking about just the norm, weapons, gear and material. The vendors are empty as hell and the previous content is irrelevant. Why is Ikora inventory removed Why are the factions shut down Why does the Gunsmith only have 2 mods and nothing else to offer The list goes on and on what is not in this game. How do you go from ROI that has a hell of a lot of loot to chase to barebone?

Played enough PvP to unlock Redrix and Lunas.. still my only exotic is Oathkeepers. Feels bad.

Edytowany przez użytkownika TheWagn: 10/24/2018 7:06:47 PMAgreed it is absurd. There are just so many exotics in the game now your chances of getting something new are slim to none. And getting exotics to drop is neigh impossible. I have been dry for weeks. Only have 1 forsaken exotic not quest related to drop for me and I've gotten it TWICE the second roll even worse than the first. I don't want heart of inmost light I want the dang furry titan gloves or LITERALLY any other exotic. I'm hitting high 590's on my characters and will be taking a break soon once I have all my characters up. Like I really wanted to play with some new exotics I paid for before you nerf them to the ground bungie thanks.

It makes it exciting! They buffed a lot of the armor before Forsaken hit, go try some of that out again. The dunemarchers are amazing now!

Haven’t got ANY exotic drop for weeks, except ghost shells...

33 Odpowiedzi"a chance to unlock content I already paid for" This has got to be the stupidest comment I've ever read but it continues to come up in every other thread on here!! Almost every game ever released has a progression system, they don't allow you to jump in to the last level whenever you want just because YOU want to! you have to fight your way through. There must be so many games out there that countless gamers have failed to complete because they've either struggled for time or struggled in general, it's quite normal. Just because you (probably mommy and daddy in your case) paid for a game it doesn't mean you can sit there and demand ALL content when you think you should have it. Remember you paid to play destiny, that's all. you paid for the CHANCE to get some gear and you know its RNG. I'm sure Bungie appreciate constructive criticism but acting like a little princess will get you nowhere.

I disagree. I played the hell out of Y1 D1 and never once got the gjallarhorn drop. Did it suck? Yeah. But when Xur, that beautiful tentacle faced man arrived and sold it, well there's a reason it became a worldwide trend on twitter. I had friends who couldn't get the crux of crota, or the mythoclast or any number of exotics. And despite all the frustrations, despite all of the times watching friends getting duplicate drops before even getting the first but boy did it make that moment when it finally dropped so much better. It made them feel like something special, something worth grinding for. Roll on Y1 of D2 and within a month most of the exotics have been collected, most of the guns tested and tried. Now what? If you're argument is "We paid for the game, we deserve loot", then the simple answer is GTFO. We paid for the grind, the grind is part of the reason we come back. I'm pretty much 600 on all 3 classes (silly titan arms stopping me), but I will still grind out powerfuls each week, I will still complete the flashpoint, something I don't think I did for the majority of year 1, I will keep going and killing the same 540 wanted man each week, just for the chance to get those exotics drops. Is it frustrating at times? Yeah. But is it fun when one finally drops and you get to play around with the exotic you've been looking for? That's what I paid for. That's what we all paid for.

I had my first Forsaken Exotic drop on the second day after release, the Queenbreaker, guess how many other weapons (I'm NOT including quest aquired weapons) I've had since then? thats right, NONE! and I play everyday for more hours than I care to admit to. I've had a couple of armour drops for my Warlock and Hunter but my titan has had nothing. Now I'm not saying that Exotics aren't dropping, I've had 29 since FR, but 24 have been Y1 repeats, 16 Coldhearts, yes SIXTEEN, 7 Sweet Buisness' and 1 Prometheus Lens. RNG is RNG BUT when I have only been getting the same 2 exotics over and over I'm starting to think that RNG has been over biasly tweeked to drop Y1 exotics and I ended up in the Coldheart club. Not cool Bungie.

5 OdpowiedziI agree. I have been grinding my ass off. I dont use exploits and I have only gotten 1 forsaken exotic to drop. If anything festival of the lost is a total kick in the nuts. I fall asleep running that over and over. The Horror story isnt worth the grind.

I already got some exotics .. but I am not playing for exotics I am happy when I get one, but exotics are not the fun in D2 (without tunderlord and gjalahorn .. who needs the exotics at all?)
-
1 OdpowiedźYou paid for the ability to play the expansion and a chance of getting the new gear. You didn't pay to have the loot handed to you up front. In your thinking everyone that bought forsaken should get 1000 voices even if they hadn't don't the raid.
-
8 OdpowiedziYeah, lets dish out exotics like candy, that'll help the longevity of the game. Obviously appeals to casual gamers, but they are primed and ready to bugger off when the next "shiney new game" is released, leaving the dedicated playerbase with the crap they leave behind. Half of you won't be playing anyway once RDR2 comes out, if these forums are anything to go by. So why should Bungie cater to you over people who are going to be here for the long haul?
-
3 OdpowiedziI like the new drop rates. You know that you can't be guaranteed an exotic drop of your choice, so using the "I paid for it" excuse doesn't matter. I've got 5 Forsaken exotic weapons, and I only ever play on weekends due to time constraints. This is an RNG Loot based shooter, you aren't guaranteed anything. I haven't been hyped about exotic drops since my first ever exotic in D1 vanilla, and that's a good thing in my opinion. Exotics in the past have been way too easy to get, ridding them of what helps to make them special. I think the drop rates are fine as they are, but getting duplicates is annoying, but if that's happening a lot to you then I guess you just have bad luck.
Wort
I paid for it, not a slap in my face, it's JUST a videogame and I've definitely got my money's worth out of it.
-
I got that Two Tailed Fox from a haunted forest boss on Monday. I went "Yay". I like those moments.
-
Look guys. Another crybaby
-
I've only got the shot gun exotic which is great. They should keep it like this. If you ask me they should lower the chances even more. Maybe a chance to get one in one month if your playing 4-6 hours.

1 OdpowiedźI’m 600 on both warlock and hunter and have no new exotic armor.
But I have every exotic weapon

I JUST WANTED THE ARMOR

END ME
I think the correct word is hard luck. I didn’t and still don’t want everything in the first week, period! I also know a lot of people who feel the same way, without sound like an arse casuals had their 12 months of garbage.
