Bring back the choice of Weapon or Armor from D1
Back in Destiny 1, I don't remember which expansion but you made it possible to receive either a Weapon or an Armor when ranking up in Factions, Vanguard and Crucible. This was amazing as you had an easier choice to acquire a set of Armor or a certain Weapon you really wanted.
Since Forsaken I am getting way too many weapons from Powerfull Engrams and rarely Armor while I am trying to complete my sets. Weapons seems to drop alot more in general and being able to choose from the engrams would give us again the opportunity to acquire what we need.
Please take it into consideration.

Those were faction rewards. Either through you're chosen faction or your Vanguard rep. That is a great idea though. Too bad we don't rank up with factions like that anymore.

The only good reason to consider that is probably why we could already have built two... hundred Towers from dismantled weapon materials. I feel the same as you, not getting anything really useful

No. Zavala will give you Main Ingredient and you will dismantle it for 3 shards. That is the way of the world.

I personally have had no less than 11 class items drop from powerful/prime engrams over the last two weeks. That’s a kick right in the coin purse with some steel toed shoes by Bungie. This system is fubared and this entire title has been fubared since it released. I sure hope Bungie relocates some of their staff members and brings in a little common sense before they try to shit out a 3rd title. I made a post similar to this the other day asking for the y3 system to be put into the game. The loot table is -blam!-ed. Bungie likes to -blam!- us.

2 Odpowiedziif I get another set of arms for my Titan I am literally going to give birth to a porcupine humanoid and call him Seamus. I have a Good Power Spread on my Hunter, OK on my Warlock and just abysmal on my titan. I started pushing weapons over from my Hunter to my Titan to boost the level. now I have a problem where the weapons that drop from PE are below the weapons I have, and the fact that the game thinks its fun to give me 3/5 milestones the same set of Armor (ARMS) for some reason the game thinks its a great idea to make my Titan be Powerful etc, bla die bla by giving me enough arms I could be Spiders and a Ketch's love child. oh, and I do love the Powerful engrams that absolutely drop Weapons for me that are nothing but an Edge transit.
