The Senate isn't debating criminal charges against Kavanaugh over the lady's accusations, but his temperament and suitability to being a Supreme Court Justice. Lying is bad, so is his behaviors thus far. So for a job interview he won't be getting a call back.

In fact everything he's done is beyond the reach of the criminal courts because of statutes of limitations. 2. statutes of limitations EXIST to protect the rights of the accused BECAUSE memories get fuzzy after years. Evidence gets lost. Witnesses die or fall ill...and getting to the truth of something **beyond a reasonable doubt** becomes exponentially more difficult. 3. This is a JOB interview for someone to determine if he has the CHARACTER necessary to qualify for a job that carries TREMEDOUS power....and LITTLE accountability to the public. He will never have to sit for re-election or re-appointment. It is a LIFETIME appointment. If confirmed he will be a Justice until he either dies.....retires.....or is impeached. Kavanaugh is failing that job interview badly. In fact, he will likely emerge from this radioactive to everyone but authoritarian conservatives. 4. Lets not kid ourselves here. THIS IS A PROCEEDING WHERE NEITHER SIDE HAS ANY WISH WHATSOEVER TO GET TO THE ACTUAL TRUTH. This is a political knife fight. You have Republicans who are so desperate to control the court that they will appoint anyone to the position who will rule in the way that they want. They have shown NO respect for the norms or the traditions of this process....and have used EVERY kind of procedural blockade to prevent Democrats from appointing justices and judges when they controlled the White House. To the point of outright STEALING an appointment from President Obama. To make matter worse, the GOP goes back and then REMOVES the ability to use the same tactics to return the favor by Democrats, once they were back in power. So we are here because you have a fight going on over whether women will have control over their bodies and their lives....or whether they will have that freedom taken away by a motivated and authoritarian religious minority. Women are not prepared to take that lying down....and every other way (procedurally) to fight back in a civilized way has been taken away from them In short.....like all authoritarians.....they were so desperate for control that they painted themselves into a corner where the only way that other people can defend themselves is by going to war. So what is going on here is since they can't obstruct his appointment. Their only option is to BLOODY him up....and make him absolutely glow-in-the-dark radioactive. ...and right now Democrats (uncharacteristically) are doing a brilliant job of it. Because right now the only options open to Republicans are lose---lose bigger----lose catastrophically. 1. Lose: Withdraw his nomination. Probably lose control of the Senate in November...and then be forced to accept a more moderate justice for the position. Because a Democratically-controlled Senate will simply refuse to confirm anyone else. 2. Lose bigger: Ram-rod his appointment through...and pay a HUGE political price with women. Despite this they some how manage to hold onto control of the Senate for now, but mobilize women against the GOP for 2020. 3. Lose catastrophically: Ram-rod his appointment through. Pay a huge political price with women. THEN lose the Senate and the House....and now your looking at a possible impeachment and removal of Kavanaugh. As the Democratically controlled Congress now flexes its collective oversight muscle...and proceeds to subject Kavanaugh to the political equivalent of a body-cavity search. Sorry but no sympathy here. We are here because the GOP wanted to play hardball and steal court appointments from Democrats. What goes around comes around and hits you in the head. Now they're staring down the barrel of a Democratic counter-offensive....and they are getting their asses handed to them at the moment.

If the women that are accusing Brett would give proper evidence supporting their claims against Brett then I wouldn’t be supportive of him and i would stay out of this stuff because honestly I wouldn’t care at that point. Ignore body language, ignore political agenda, ignore emotion on both Ford and Brett’s sides. Show the proper evidence that confirms Brett did what he did to the females, if they have the evidence then Brett should not be on the court and we will go to another candidate trump selects. If they don’t have any evidence then I don’t care what body language they show or what gender the accuser is, Brett should go on the court if there is no proof of evidence. Simple as that.
