People who post positive things are being attacked.
Why is this allowed to go on? Every person posting good things about the dlc or stream are being attacked by the hate crew.
How can the ninjas and moderators allow this?
This cycle has to be broken.
I'm actually ashamed to be part of this community when I see this crap.

Ignoring is your most powerful tool here. There are tools built in that help you with this, but you're (each of you) are part of a larger ecosystem that helps deter disruptive users. Users that attempt to disrupt forum discussing are looking for reactions. If you give in, you're now part of it. There's a reason we suggest 'report and move on' - because we have years of experience with it. Even responding to the post/user saying "I reported you" or "reported" is just asking for a disruptive response from the users, all you're doing is poking the bear. In fact, it's technically very difficult (by design) to respond to someone if you actually [i]did[/i] report them first (because it removes it from your view). Nothing beats a troll quicker than not responding at all. So please - if you believe someone is breaking the Code of Conduct, simply report and move on.

This is a forum, theyre voicing their opinions, thats what a forum is for. If you or anyone else feels as if youre being personally attacked, report the post, dont reply. Simple as that, be mature enough to walk away from and leave angry people to be angry.

1 OdpowiedźIts because the moderators and ninjas let people get away with it. They just tell you to report it, ignore it and move on. Its one of the main reasons the forum is in such a state. Those who post positively or try and be supportive to others, get attacked by haters and so they have no one to turn to for help or support. and usually the positive people stop posting because they have had no support, and so nothing gets done about it. Its ok to have a difference of opinion, but there is that and then just attacking someone. Iv seen so many posts of people just attacking the OP.. and nothing gets done about it.

1 OdpowiedźThe reality of the situation is that what you call "being attacked" is someone who simply has a different opinion than you 90% of the time. When you report someone the ninjas review the post and all the ones connected to it. They are the ones who decided what is toxic attacking and what isn't. Not you. If it was up to people like you everyone who didn't agree with you would receive permanent bans because you don't know how to have a logical conversation with anyone who doesn't share the same view is as you. You don't want to stop toxicity you want to silence people who don't agree with you but you want to be allowed to post your thoughts and ideas because they are "positive" as you label them. That is called hypocrisy and is why the people who you claim are toxic and report are not actually being banned. Why don't you follow Spawn's advice and let the people who moderate the forum do their job?

If you, or anyone, can't deal with a bit of banter then maybe you should rethink being on here. Sometimes people do go beyond what's acceptable I'm not denying that. But there's a simple way of dealing with stuff like this. Ignore it. Mute it. Close your eyes. I can't put it any simpler then that. This is tame compared to what I see on other forums. There's no need for this hyperbolic nonsense.

You are quite happy to 'attack' plenty of people if they have a different view to you, so it goes both ways I guess. Everyone is allowed an opinion and an equal forum for expressing it, if it differs from yours perhaps leave constructive feedback for them. Perhaps they didn't see a situation or thing from an angle that you did. That way you can have positive impact on their perhaps negative comments and start 'breaking the cycle'.

Look dude, you need to practice what you preach. Oh and just because someone disagrees with your opinion, it does not make them toxic or haters, or whatever the f you feel like labeling them today or any day. Engage them and ask them why it is they feel that way, and you’ll find out why, providing you were respectful. If you disagree with what they are saying, engage them back and explain why you disagree in a respectful manner as well. It’s really that fn simple. But don’t start yourself either, lest you make the issue worse. Now if this is regarding personal attacks (threats, ie), report them and let the mods handle it if you can’t ignore them. The mods will determine whether or not they deem it against the CoC and take the appropriate actions. That’s all there is to it.
