That's right, the brilliant minds at Bungie decided to add more timed activities when QUITE LITERALLY NOBODY likes them.
How many more "remove the -blam!-ing timers!!!!" threads need to be made before they get the point? Jesus. This is incompetence at its finest.

4 OdpowiedziTimers really arnt that bad, take a chill pill 😃

6 OdpowiedziNarcissism? Self-Centered? Arrogance? Those are all personality traits of people who assume they speak on behalf of others. NOBODY? I love timers. They are an actual challenge. They will not be nerfing them, so get over it.

I STRONGLY APPROVE OF TIMERS
-
1 OdpowiedźOnly gripe I have is why make heroic adventures timed but not show me the timer. So I guess we're keeping secrets from each other now.

-
I like timers
-
The same with "not having varied stat loot makes loot too easy to get and the game very dull" = response "were going to shower you with more loot to make up for it"
-
Timers are fun and they are the one and only challenging part in nightfalls. Without timers they would be just strikes. I think Bungie is actually "listening" a majority of players on this one.
-
I mean...i don't care for timers...in general most people are trying to complete things as fast as possible anyways so timers only really add difficulty for people trying to sight see or kill everything. If you haven't been cutting corners in Destiny, you aren't playing it right ;3
-
Players: I want to ask you a question Bungie, straight out, flat out, and I want you to give me the honest answer. What do you think the chances are of getting rid of timers? Bungie: Well, that's difficult to say. We really don't... Players: Hit me with it! Just give it to me straight! The least you can do is level with me. What are my chances? Bungie: Not good. Players: [gulps, mouth twitching] You mean, not good like one out of a hundred? Bungie: I'd say more like one out of a million. Players: [long pause while processes what's heard] So you're telling me there's a chance. YEAH! Bungie: Here's more timers that you asked for.
-
Agreed. They came from the, “let’s be a pain in the ass” department.

5 OdpowiedziTimers are my favorite things about strikes and nightfalls. What I didnt like was the fact that when you died, you originally returned to orbit back in year one of destiny. That was much more frustrating than a measly timer.
-
6 OdpowiedziDo people realize that there are entire games that live off of time trials and shit. Having a timer doesn’t mean that the game is poorly designed. And the only reason the timer would be annoying is because u can’t get it done fast enough consistently. I think they r fine, they force u to clear hard waves of enemy’s as fast as possible and u often die because of it. It fun trying to beat a timer like I said with time trials

1 OdpowiedźKeep in mind, when Bungie posted that blog last week, Curse was probably finished already. They were just tweaking a few bugs. Now Bungie, this is the only time we will accept this. By DLC 2, there must be an improvement.

2 OdpowiedziThere's more timers now? Where?
-
It’s an added challenge. Community wanted more challenge. Life ain’t always fair. Tis the season to be jolly
fah la la la lah la la la lah
I love timers. They tell me when my pizza is ready to be eaten. They also tell me when my work day is over and I get to go home. But for a nightfall? It makes the nightfall "unfun".

3 OdpowiedziI have yet to play everything in CoO. Where were timers added?

Edytowany przez użytkownika Viking Children: 12/6/2017 5:39:48 PMI didn't care for the timer either, but it hasn't been an problem any week. You can get the Rat King every week if you actually use teamwork, communication, and strategy. Most of Destiny's content is timer based "do x within y amount of time", and the Raids are pretty much only timer based encounters. The NF timer gives you plenty of time and ways to make up time, and prestige isn't ball-bustingly hard. Strikes can be used to practice the Nightfalls if you need to, but I doubt players familiar with D1 NFs has had trouble with completing the NFs in D2. This game is overall easier and more forgiving than D1, but a persistent game mechanic is to be able to perform x in y time. The only thing putting a timer on NFs did was remove cheesing and made solo runs almost impossible. It makes you have to stop and think - it challenges your ability to complete a strike efficiently. The timer would have to be lower with less opportunity to regain time for it to be an actual challenge, and prestige delivers that without feeling unfair, broken, or too easy.

4 OdpowiedziI don't mind timers. The more challenging the better. Timers make things harder. Perhaps the trolls that upvote posts like OP's this are not representative of the millions that play Destiny. I hope not anyway.
-
What it sounds like to me is you want more participation ribbons.
-
Yeah, no doubt. They'll do anything to piss you off.

What else did they add timers to?

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Ninja Monkey: 12/6/2017 3:35:52 PMReally? I’ve never had a problem with the timers. I always have 2-8 min left in NF..... if you’re not good enough, then practice and get better, don’t complain just because a hard activity is “HARD”.
