They set out to write a hit piece from the beginning. Example quote from the article: "according to those who completed the campaign." And how convenient they release this just hours before Bungie releases their blog update regarding major changes coming to the game. Its a PR stunt for their website traffic trying to get a jump on the flurry of news about destiny coming from competing gaming info sites later today, nothing more. D2 does have its issues, but so called game journalists with an obvious agenda shouldn't be commenting on things they haven't played. No objectivity there. Its all based on hearsay. IGN is fake news lol. Edit: calling me fanboy because I pointed out the lack of objectivity in the article LOL. Like I said, D2 has its issues. Look at my past posts and you'll see my areas of concern. It is a PR stunt for IGN. They posted this "hot topic" article just hours before the Bungie blog post for a reason. After bungie posts their update, all the other sites will posts updates and take away from traffic that could go to IGN, reducing their ad-click revenue.

1 OdpowiedźLet’s be honest...they are right. Bungie says they listen but they really don’t. Every one asked for weapons rolls but instead we get kill tracker... who the -blam!- cares. I’m tired of these boring guns and stupid reskins. I already noticed in the curse of Osiris a reskined SMG that I bet isn’t even good. What’s the point of Destiny 2 being a “collection” game if all the weapons look and deal the same. Strike specific loot was also a huge disired wish but instead they are having us go after weapon perks. 2-3 hour campaign. So much for “people will complain because there is too much story”. I finished every thing there is to do in destiny 2 in on month. I have all exotics, all world armor sets, and all event weapons. Destiny 2 was good for one month and the attention of the players was easily diverted by the other games. Like Fortnite, WW2, and battlefront 2. Bungie needs to cut the hype and back there game with good immersive content.

Ign credibility put to one side, we'll probably find what's been said as true? After all, pretty much everything we've had so far has been a crock of shit. The lies, the deceit, the promised game being empty, and so on. Here's a thought? Surely most of what's been going on has driven many people away, there's plenty of other games to play right? So who's left? Hardcore player's mainly I'd imagine. But Bungie aimed their sights at the Casual Player's in the structure of D2? Think they got their priorities totally wrong! But so far they have got everything else wrong, so it's not surprising is it?

HAHAHA that is freaking awesome! Funniest thing is Fireteam Chat thats part of IGN. You know they cant bash Bungie but I bet those shows of theirs will try to be positive with this doomed game.

I stopped taking anything IGN had to say seriously well over a decade ago. That said, I was never expecting CoO to deliver much. It's basically this game's House of Wolves.
