15 OdpowiedziAn article from a place where people step out of their car and shit in the road. From a place that still goes by a caste system. From a place that still marries off 12 year old girls. FOH.

I can't see why you think this was harsh OP. It is the truth and nothing but the truth. What I'm amazed at is I always sore IGN reporting D2 through gritted teeth when they had to say good things which were not good at all. Now they finally speak the truth..... Just shows how far D2 has fallen IMO.... Or was it ever up there in the first place! Not for me....

The truth hurts

All my characters are 305's and ive played out most of well all of the end game just as with D1. but something about just wanting to hop on and kill some turtles and help lower lvls complete end game content is what is driving me to play. i have been around since beta D1. and i came into this game fully aware of how bungie was planning to manage the franchise. they have built this game to evolve over time and thats just it. everything they said in there blog had nothing, absolutely nothing, with hearing everyone's cries. all of that stuff was being worked on prior to all of the back lash, they just word it to where it sounds like there hearing us. but on that same note of course im looking forward to fifth of December as is everyone else who ordered and got the deluxe version or bought the season pass. it will be fun and it will expand the D2 universe a little bit more, not much but a tad which its whatever. ill be playing the hell out of it either way. until the next DLC. by the time the next DLC arrives there will be more things fixed in QoL in the sandbox and more issues will be addressed and its not because they hear us its because there already working on them. Also dont be fooled their will be another round of DLCs coming after this, that wasn't in the deluxe version that if you are still around you will have to buy. but at the end of D2's life cycle it will be a game that we all enjoy. then they will announce D3 and start all over. this is bungie now or Acti-bungie or BungieVision what ever you would like to call them. Dont get me wrong I am not a fanboy and i play alot of other games then D2 but i do spend time in the world they have created. and if you start to understand Bungie's and Activision's business model you will go into your next purchases from them with a more realistic expectation. By all means keep complaining so i dont have to, maybe you'll be heard maybe you wont but either way i will still play the games im in the mood for and sometimes im in the mood to play D2 i is what it is.

It's IGN India....

Yeah this was from before the blog post, posts like this being public and widely read are what help pressure Bungie to be more open and react to the concerns of the community
-
I’m fairness, it was written pre-blog
-
And bungie defenders still think this toxicity is a minority in the community. It literally is coming from every single outlet.

1 Odpowiedź
There will be a blog post very soon from Bungie that discusses the end-game and what improvements are being made. There's the same song and dance from its community managers to make players think they “care”. However, nothing has truly changed about Destiny or the way Bungie handles it. -IGN
-
I'm still going to buy and play both DLC's but, OUCH!!
-
1 Odpowiedźpeople comparing D2 to D1 vanilla and saying 'give it time'...Why should we? Why should a game given three years to learn from the mistakes they made and work on them be given an excuse for the sequel being so underwhelming and not better at all from the end state of the first?
-
Double response :D Bungie:"What’s so funny Freak?" IGN: "HUH?" Bungie: "What did you think? That I was going to roll over and die from an attack like that?" IGN: *SCARED* You’re nothing, just a trickster. I am a warrior, the creator of halo, BUNGIE!!!!"

2 OdpowiedziYeah, I kinda think Desinty sucs too. Now Destiny on the other hand....

I knew it was gonna be trash. I'm glad I didn't preorder it and have no plans on getting it. It's time for people to be smart and stop buying the same crap from developers who don't care what you think or ones that lie to you constantly.

21 OdpowiedziPretty sure curse of Osiris is cut content btw
-
4 OdpowiedziHorizon Zero Dawn: Frozen Wilds costs about the same as this DLC. You get 10+ hours of story content for just $20 vs 3 hours on Curse of Osiris.

4 OdpowiedziReally regretting my preorder right about now

Finally, those hacks man'd-up and said how it is. Still though.... its low-hanging fruit. Bungie bashing is too easy these days and it would be hard to say that IGN is finally on the side of the gamer... i mean, they constantly give CoD 8s and 9s... and what score did they give Destiny 2? Yeah.... not impressed.

I prefer to accept opinions of folks who actually played the full DLC (which no one has). IGN's article is based on presumptions of another players experience of an incomplete expansion. This community is full of folks who enjoy outrage for the sake of outrage regardless of the content and credibility of the writers. I too am hoping for the same changes that most folks want and I am optimistic we'll see it, just not as fast as the player base want. I am encouraged by yesterday's blog post and there are a ton of other people encouraged too, there just not on the forums to say so.
