This is a -blam!-ing joke. What a dumbass decision.

I quit the game due to the NF timer. I just hate it... stupid way to make things harder, not fun for a large part of the fan base. I loved the nightfall in D1, was my fave part of the game. Not played it for months and wont return if they don't do something to make all parties happy.. which isn't hard. Waste of money for me.

1 Odpowiedźat 20 light its hell. At 305 light its hella easy. level up kinderguardian then come back and try it. its WAAAAY more than enough time
-
The challenges are shiit for like 5 seconds?
-
In my opinion the timer is a nice idea, however I think it should be more of a challenge aspect as opposed to a requirement.
-
6 OdpowiedziThen they have to rework the Rat King quest because it depends on the timer to complete it. That quest alone doesn’t allow for the timer to be removed.

I bet you are lactose intolerant

Where is the difference between an Nightfall and a regular Strike mission, when you remove the timer? Isnt a nightfall all about "beating the clock in a difficult strike"?
-
I like the timer, at least you know now you will only waste 20 mins if you fail.
-
Same as the new shader system. It's just stupid...
-
It was a great decision to bring a challenge back to the game. Since boot to orbit was removed, there hasn't been any excitement doing them. They were just another strike with a burn. Now they force you to press, which can create tons of exciting moments in a 20 minute strike.

3 OdpowiedziIt’s just no fun there’s very little strategy it’s just beat the clock.

6 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika SackOfWine: 11/6/2017 10:01:51 PMYou know this isnt really a difficult issue to fix lol. Since there are those who like it and those who don’t lets make both happy it is possible I promise. Here are the 2 simple steps to solve this Bungie. Step 1 Take timers off - that shuts down all the people who don’t like it immediately. Step 2 Leave the clock but make it go forward instead of backward and those who liked the timers if you don’t beat the boss after your personal target time go to orbit with your team and start over. That keeps the others happy. WAHMMM I fixed it have a great day. OP if you agree please add this to your post so bungie can find it lol.

Nightfall 240 = easy Nightfall prestige = challenge but poor reward
-
Theres a timer in the nightfall really? Guess I never noticed
-
What is Nightfall for again? Haven’t completed one since getting Rat King week 1 or 2....
-
I tried the NF once. The timer took all the fun out of the game, hated it. Haven't bothered with it since. Who ever thought timers were fun, need to give their head a shake.
-
Yup. Still agree with this. Timer is lame.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Pippo: 11/7/2017 5:15:56 PMIf you have problems with regular Nightfalls try doing the modified Arms Dealer Strike for Legend of Acrius. 😅 Once you've done that, you will appreciate Nightfalls more. At least it did that for me. Not having a timer removes the only pressure you have. Last weeks Nightfall was easy because you just got time for killing enemies. This week? Can't tell yet. Worst thing that can happen is Anomalies and your entire team has no clue where they are. But instead of giving up because time runs out, you should memorize the Anomalies you got, and restart. It's actually a learning process. God forbid if you can't headbutt through a strike or sit back with Ice Breaker. That said I still liked the D1 Nightfalls. Be it "wipe = back to orbit", horrible Lightswitch/Burn experiences or the timed Nightfalls during Rise of Iron. "Last Guardian standing" in an Omnigul Burn Nightfall, hell even in any Orbitkicker-Nightfall was still one of the creepiest feelings. There, you didn't need a timer.

The timer is okay.. Maybe there should be an option for it. Like timed gets better loot. It make you strategize on how to use your time more efficiently. I just feel like time should stop when things beyond your control occur i.e when your ghost is hacking a door open. I actually like the feeling of killing the boss with just seconds left. Its really the only excitement you get out of me out of the whole game.
-
3 Odpowiedziit's pretty easy on normal. Hard mode is when it gets fun. When you have like seconds left to kill the boss. -snipin headless boss-
