All the best loot is from the raids and Trails of the Nine, why is there not any good gear from completing Patrols or solo play? I do not have the time to put in a continuous 5-6 hour raid or have the friends to play TotN.
Even RatKing requires you to complete as a team.
Please add some addition content for solo players
[EDIT] Since originally posting I have joined a clan and recently completed the nightfall (used LFG site) with 6:11 left on the clock.

You can't blame solo players coz they cant spend 3-6 hours on a single activity. Most people work a whole 9 hours/day to afford playing great games. We have to admit it, nothing comes for free these days. In line with working, we have to find our ways to relieve stress and that is where gaming comes in. Due to time constraint, you go solo in order not to put others hanging in a time consuming activity. I too am a solo player so I have accepted the fact that I cant achieve everything a game has to offer specially on games that requires social activities. In fact I have played Destiny 1 but have played Taken King Raid only once by chance. I got invited on a random party to kill Oryx, that’s it. Never been able to do it again. Never got to play Trials, do team exotic quest or the like, and its been a Three Year Journey in Destiny 1. Imagine, 3 years playing=1 Raid, funny isn't it..... Not taking sides just expressing my ideas.

3 characters around 300 without raiding or playing Trials.
solo player
1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Vizard: 9/20/2017 6:02:03 PMGame is made for twitchers, YouTubers and soon MLG/ eSports. It's all just to get more audience so people buy the game more. Do you all not see Activision on the box?

2 OdpowiedziThe Strum exotic quest states 3 players are required, I made that boss hold my pocket. If Bungie added raid/trials level gear for doing things like kill 100,000 dregs or something along those lines I would be pleased...

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika A-a-ron: 9/16/2017 8:28:53 PMNot once did a commercial for this game show a solo guardian taking the galaxy by storm. It's been about fireteams from day one. You don't get onto family feud and then bitch to Steve Harvey that you're an orphan and don't have any help. Wrong game show, wrong game.
edit: spelling
3 OdpowiedziI would love there to be a hardcore solo only game mode that only the best of the best could complete and earn the exclusive gear, but even without that there is still more for us solo/duo players to do than there was in Destiny 1.

7 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika BI20CK: 9/16/2017 5:57:46 PMSo, your able to find your way to the forums here and instead of finding people to play with, you waste your time here complaining. Sounds like a great use of your time

1 OdpowiedźAs much as The Division is hated that's one thing got right. It would be nice to see Bungie make some changes for access to better drops for solo players.
-
11 Odpowiedziwhy do solo players insist on playing an always online shooter where most activities require a group?

1 OdpowiedźThis game is NOT MEANT FOR SOLO PLAY
-
1 OdpowiedźIt's your choice to isolate yourself you even referred to yourself as a solo player so you get what solo players get since that's your preference. You have options
-
2 OdpowiedziWhy am I also alone on patrols? There's never anybody in this baron empty world and I'm always stuck doing public events alone

2 OdpowiedziI agree, I've made a few topics on the issues around player choice for solo people. I previously suggested ikora gets an 'archive' that lets us replay missions at will at varying difficulties (normal, heroic, prestige). If they made prestige difficulty as challenging as the Nightfall (or legendary difficulties in Halo games) and rewarded end game loot upon completion of all missions (with a reset) that could aid the solo players in not being excluded. Could even create specific challenges for campaign missions as an additional opportunity for more loot (e.g. finish mission in X in a certain time limit, or without dying on prestige etc...).

1 OdpowiedźYes Bungie still add exotic quests required Crucible & doing it with a team. I find Bungie didn't listen to solo players.

This is not a singleplayer game.

Do you want to enjoy the benefits of a clan but don't actually want to interact with anyone else? Then Axiomatica is the clan for you. Platform really doesn't matter, read on to see why. Current clan rank [ 2 ] "A clan for people who don't like clans...or social interaction...or people." https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2?groupid=693883 About us:
Axiomatica is a clan for people who don't like clans. We act as a single name under which players can enjoy the benefits of a clan rank and banner without ever needing to interact with anyone else. We don't have regularly scheduled meet-ups, heck we don't have meet-ups at all. We don't need or desire to run raids, or strikes, or trials together. Members are expected to follow 2 simple guidelines: 1. Regularly contribute to the clan rank as much as you are able. 2. Be nice. Axiomatica's leadership reserves the right to ban any member from the clan for any reason, but as long as everyone's playing nice with each other there really should never be a problem. So come alone or bring your own group of friends. Noobs, pros, young, old, chatty, mute, purple, green, a literal cat with internet skills, we don't care. All are welcome to independently operate under the name Axiomatica. (^_^)
If you...
...are shy, introverted, anti-social, or otherwise just not fond of people then this is the clan for you. ...are generally too busy to commit long stretches of time to playing with others then this is the clan for you. ...don't care about raids or trials or any other endgame activity and just like to play by yourself then this is the clan for you.
To be perfectly honest and upfront about things...
Do not join Axiomatica and expect to find a group of people willing to help you through endgame activities. It's not that we're not nice people it's just that we prefer to keep to ourselves. Being a place to find a fireteam is not the purpose of this clan. Axiomatica aims to be an oasis for those who don't want to be bothered by constant fireteam invites and regularly scheduled activities. Feel free to contact other members just don't be surprised if you don't get much of a response back.
If you think Axiomatica will be a good fit for you then please click the link above and apply.

Because the endgame is not solo specific

5 OdpowiedziIf you have an issue with the Destiny franchise not being 100% for solo players, you're playing the wrong game. I do a fair bit of soloing, but I do enjoy being part of a good fireteam.
-
4 OdpowiedziWhat do you want? Trials of the one? One man raid? Please tell me. They added heroic public events with count downs, they made flashpoints for that good gear. Do you expect to get an exotic every time you clear an area just simply because "I'm a solo player". They added guided games for solo players to get help with activities and there are dozens of off websites if you want to find a team. I'm not salty but it tweaks me the wrong way when they have already made it so easy to gain light levels and complete content and all you want is easier content. You are ruining the game for everyone else.
-
1 OdpowiedźSimply said: it's not a single player game. Find people who you get along with to play with, or get over it. Those are the only two real world options.
-
Because patrols aren't end game activities, join a clan
-
No one cares about solo players.
-
Maybe because its designed from the ground up and marketed as a 'multiplayer' title? Or didnt you realise that?
-
3 OdpowiedziThis comment is so dumb... Its a multiplayer game..

1) You can't go ten seconds on this very same forum without seeing a clan recruitment spam post. GO FIND A CLAN. 2) There's tons of great gear to obtain from packages: Nameless Midnight, Origin Story, Uriel's Gift, The Old Fashioned, etc etc. 3) LFG is actually a thing and you have an entire week to do a raid piece by piece. 4) This game is heavily advertised as meant to be played WITH FRIENDS. Caveat emptor. 5) See #4 like another fifty times.

3 OdpowiedziUmm we all hate solo players; this game is heavily geared towards rolling with a team or at least two others. Why should bungie cater to you? Go make some friends; join a clan. Don't sit here on the forums complaining about something so very stupid
