It doesn't affect me a single bit. I don't mix my Politics with my video games. One is for relaxation and escape, the other is, well... Politics. In fact, I rarely discuss my political ideals outside of my closest friends and family members. With the way the internet is; discussing your Politics on the internet leads only to having a rage-induced stroke to someone else's amusement. I don't need that shit, so having it in Offtopic only helps to keep me from having the two forcibly mixed, and thus ruining something I greatly value.

14 OdpowiedziMany users are garbage at creating the threads for politics. It's more than just making wisecracks and blaming the whole party. Often times these people don't promote discussion but drop their opinion, shove it in everyone's face, and portray it as fact. They are also 25+ years old, egocentric asshats. [i]I own a boat so you all are plebs.[/i] But yet they still come to the off-topic of a destiny forum to discuss politics with children who still think penis jokes are comedy gold.

1 OdpowiedźI think it's amazing that bnet of all places has a bunch of people that are super right leaning and the occasional dishrag that thinks the earth is flat. It doesn't make sense, I always thought and still think it's done ironically, like everybody thinks they're in on a joke of some sort, but at the end of the day it's a just a bunch of people on the internet wasting their time visibly subscribing to batshit crazy ideas and ideals.

I dont mind. I use it to get notified of bigger things fast but it should definitely not be used for the full story. Offtopic only puts the dregs of "politics" up here. Most of the events of the political arena are ignored. Only the social and chunk parts.

I feel politics is usually just a meeting place for morons that get no where fast with circular statements, anger, and nothingness. It just brings anger and annoyance. Just a damned waste of time.

1 OdpowiedźBack in the day when this place was called The Flood forum, political discussion was banned from the site. If it wasn't for the self-moderation tools we now have, I'd argue it would be good to ban politicial discussion again.
