Why are people getting so excited about a beta?
Literally just saw someone saying "won't leave my house for 5 days, will be playing beta all week" like really? It's gonna take you 5 days to complete 1 story mission? As soon as I finish that mission I'm going straight back to gta online smh.
Edit: Damn I sure am triggering a bunch of fanboys lol just accept that the game will be dead within 2 months, just like 1 did. Bungie completely reworked all the "fun" things into shit. Smh. Also if you're trying to offend me, it aint working. So keep trying.

Is it an elite virtual community of zombies who wear monkey masks while driving off-brand cars around in circles for days? People are excited for this beta because finally we ourselves get a sample to play a game we've all been patiently and (some of us) excitedly waiting for. With PvP being available I'm happily going to critique it, and not comparing it to D1 but as a different game with different systems in place. If someones going to spend the 5 days straight awake for the beta than cudos to them for having that much free time. I'm not interested in the one story mission at all myself, the strike looks more interesting than that. All I want to see for PvE is if the new weapon loadout slows PvE down in a bad way. You've got to remember bungie is now balancing enemies and encounters for two primaries and a high DPS weapon. The PvP looks excessively fun, with Bungie going back to their roots of a slower 4v4 PvP like the old halos (by the way, were viewed as highly successful and fun). I think that is fine and I've faith it'll be fun playing as all the new subclasses. So I'll be playing the D2 beta instead of staring at a titanfall 2 matchmaking time increase or a for honor disconnection screen. I

Different ppl get excited about different things. I know it may be a difficult concept to grasp but not everyone likes the same things you do. The real question that needs to be asked here is why does what random ppl on the Internet that you will never meet get excited about seem to bother you so much?

Destiny: 311,957 players in the last 24 hours, almost 3 years after launch. And honestly I'm pretty sure this is a low day. Check back on a Friday or Tuesday. Ignoring the baity part of the post, I'll try to discuss. I personally will be trying out all 3 characters, but will be spending most of the time on titan. And most of that time will be spent on PvE, a better platform to play around with their abilities and weapons. I won't really care about playing the same mission or strike over and over, because I'll be doing it in a different way each time. I'll also be playing around with the new gun system. Feverishly racking my brain to find out what I actually think about it. Because right now I'm completely on the fence. That said, seeing a post that says "not leaving the house for 5 days" is crazy if he meant it literally. But it was most likely hyperbole that he used to get the point across that he was excited for the game coming out. It's... it's like a marvel fan being excited about an avengers/any marvel movie trailer being released, if I had to compare it to anything
