African poverty is stupid.
This starvation crisis has been going on for years. I saw appeal ads when I was still watching cartoons, so it's been going on for at least 5 years.
So I'm still seeing ads these days, and they say "Little Melania here is dying of starvation and is only 2 years old. Save her now (give us money.)"
My first point;
The African parents, and their customs, are selfish.

[u]Because they are still having children.[/u]
Don't they care about their children living? They have children, just to watch them slowly [i][b][u]starve[/u][/b][/i] to death, which brings me onto
My second point;
I really do apologise for this, but I've got no proof for this.
On BBC News, a while back, I watched an interview of a small hamlet that the starvation crisis affected.
But as I was watching, I noticed something odd.
A ton of chickens were walking around village.
Why wouldn't they eat them? These people are eating [b][i][u]nothing[/u][/i][/b], but they have chickens? What?

Massive amounts of money have been continuously pumped into Africa from both states and charities for years now. I would think that we should have seen at least some improvement by now, but apparently not.

19 OdpowiedziWhat's always confused me is that they have an abundance of animals they can hunt and eat in Africa, yet they're still starving. Unless there is a reason I'm unaware of, I don't see why they don't just hunt the animals they have there.
