"rasputin" ended up canceling this order in the final moments of the collapse, leading a lot of people to think the traveler did try to help us, and was overwhelmed, creating the ghosts THIS GRIMOIRE has been the only saving grace of the traveler for a few years, the fact that "rasputin" canceled the directive to attack the traveler ... well ... 3.) turns out an "unauthorized user" canceled rasputin's directive to attack the traveler, and was the one who put rasputin into hibernation - - when rasputin woke up, boy was he pissed ; and that is precisely why he has refused to work with us these last 3 years of Destiny TL;DR rasputin DID plan to attack the traveler, and had all intent to do so, somebody hacked him, and stopped him, and as such, he no longer trusts humanity, and does not wish to give us support
