I really am annoyed when shots fail to register, and I really see this happening a lot on hand cannons and fusions. Pls remove Bloom.

Agree. But leave bloom for last word 😂

Edytowany przez użytkownika Astro Umi: 1/5/2017 5:55:53 PMI've never noticed bloom enough to care about removing it.

13 OdpowiedziThey are still used very effectively. Bloom has become the common excuse people use to feel good about missing shots.

Shoot closer

1 OdpowiedźRemove the Bloom on my Shotgun! All the Pellets should land dead center on my crosshairs, not in a giant RNG Bloom Cone. Aiming should be about skill, not RNG. I'm tired of having someone's head dead center in the crosshairs and half the pellets land on their body instead!

I like bloom. I think it's a necessary function.

Bloom is good

I do Think Bloom needs to go. But it needs some more range drop of. Im talking about palindrome. It's range is too much.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika TrooperHR: 1/2/2017 10:10:47 PMSBMM is the stupidest decision ever made in Destiny, but Bloom is right there at second place. You are shooting your weapon, the Aim Assist is sending you positive feedback: "YOU ARE ON TARGET! Nice shot, now wait for recoil. NOW SHOOT AGAIN WE ARE ON TARGET!!" But nothing is happening, the health bar is not moving, bullets "missed", your brain gets stunlocked by this stupidity and it's done. RNG accuracy by Bungie. Engineering failures since September 2015.

3 OdpowiedziWhy hasn't their sandbox guy been fired yet? Every job is about results and his have been terrible for awhile. If I was that bad at my job, I'd be fired. Bloom is terrible but pvp has a lot of other issues too.

They just need to tweak it, let it start to take affect at 30 meters. Atm it kicks in at 20 to 25 depending on your roll. if u have just rifled/ reinforced it kicks in at 20 but if u have rangefinder and rifled/reinforced bsrrel its 25.

5 Odpowiedzifirst off i don't think bloom needs to go but i do think it needs work. HC's are still killing people at a pretty good rate in the crucible. so take away bloom and add damage falloff but all these hand cannons get to keep Rifled Barrel/Rangefinder? lol ya that sounds balanced. the thing i dont think alot of people understand is that bloom is there to keep the hand cannon in check at longer ranges. Now if you take bloom out and add damage falloff you're just gonna be stuck with a new issue. I'd be willing to bet with the removal of Bloom all HC's would be hit with a rather hefty range nerf. so you're still going to be having to run RangeFinder/Rifled Barrel. i don't see the removal of bloom really being a good thing right now. But i do agree that ghost bullets are a problem. Not a chance you should be within acceptable range and miss with the reticle on target. Now once you move out of the effective range of the weapon then i don't see it as a big deal. You want to hit? be in the range your weapon is meant for.

1 OdpowiedźBloom is dumb. But if bloom won't be removed then at least add an indication as to how fast it is settling back down.

"We hear you, we just disagree and will keep it." -Bungie <3

2 Odpowiedzi*sigh* Damage drop off is the answer. Doesn't matter about pin point accuracy if I can gun you down faster when you're out of range. Tired of these crappy players thinking they have a clue about what they are talking about. Handcannons used to not have bloom. Auto rifles were better before. Pulse rifles were better before. Think Messenger. Bloom isn't necessary.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Moth: 1/4/2017 1:53:22 PMI'm still good with Hand Cannons, even with the bloom. I honestly never noticed it and I think people are making too big of a deal out of it. Massive short-barrel revolvers aren't going to be the most accurate things in the world. (EDIT) My personal best Hand Cannon is The First Curse. Git gud.

9 OdpowiedziDo want want Hand Cannons nerfed to the ground? If bloom is removed they will be hit hard.

2 OdpowiedziThere is nothing realistic about bloom, but then we have space wizards........

You'll land more head-shots and shots period if you learn the natural rhythm of the recoil. You've gotta let the sight reset. Also, just seek cover and do a little maneuvering if you have any doubts whatsoever if you're not within your hand-cannons optimal range. Don't just spam away. Bloom affects scout rifles just as much as hand-cannons.

Not to be a big stat whore here but I'm pretty sure it's not bloom holding you back...sorry :(

It's funny that most people want it gone but it's something that bungie implemented into the game and I'm sure it'll be here in destiny 2. This isn't the only reason but I think I'm done when this game ends. There will have to be something amazing about destiny 2 that'll make me get into it again. Pve would have to be fun. Weapons would have to feel powerful. RNG wouldn't screw people over for 1-2 years. All weapon archetypes would be balanced in pvp. Ghost bullets or random misses from hand cannons inside their ranges would be no more. Exotics would be useful instead of collection fodder. It seems like a huge list but I feel as if the game needs these things in order to be great again.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Megumeow: 1/3/2017 2:22:56 AMBump, and to those who say that would make HC's op, damage falloff keeps it in check
-
That and fixing the fusion rifles so each shot is actually consistent from round to round
-
Ghost bullets don't just happen on hand cannons and fusions.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika RAIST5150: 1/2/2017 10:02:41 PMNo....they need to fix initial accuracy, which would reign bloom in a bit. Having to be inside of 20 with base range stats of 25+ for them to be consistent with even rested shots is where it starts to fall apart...stack Bloom's exaggeration on top of that and it just falls apart. Shouldn't have to stack every range enhancing perk available to make it a viable weapon. Throws diversity out the window... Which flies in the face of one of their stated goals for balancing weapons in the first place.

7 OdpowiedziI hate Bloom as much as the next guy, but it's there for a reason. When you factor in god rolls and aim assist, hand cannons would be insane if every shot had pinpoint accuracy when Rangefinder/Rifled Barrel is active. Simply removing bloom is not the answer. If anything, it would cause more problems than it solves.
