MAKE NIGHTFALL MATCHMAKING PLEASE.
Nightfall needs to be matchmaking, this would allow all players to complete bounties at any time, even if their friends are offline or don't play destiny anymore, this would eliminate the need to search forums for other players also, I don't see a good reason why this hasn't been done already.
EDIT.
They could at least make it optional, so we the player could decide.

Yes as long as there is an option button. Plus AFK issues would need to be addressed in some way.

2 OdpowiedziThey've already made the decision a long time ago that Nightfall and raids should be matchmaking-free. I kind of agree. Any jerk can push a button and matchmake, then sit there AFK and reap the rewards. If you take the time to look for a team or set up one yourself, at least I know you're serious about playing. Sorry. I've seen too many AFK players to sympathize.

That would be nice, some of the heroics have been harder than nightfall because of the modifiers so I don't really see a reason not to add it in. Just make it optional.

1 OdpowiedźI still play even with everything at 400 I still have fun playing, end-game is only if you call it end-game I want to play when I have time have fun and not have to beg for help just to get something once and can use it for as long as I want to use it! Destiny is fun if you can play it to play! Do like some of the changes last update still not there yet. But I'm like most had a lot of friend in Destiny now cant even do nightfall when I want let alone raid and lfg is a joke to me no one wants to help or leave if its take to long, so getting monitors will never happen. Raid need to be match making too and raid exotic need to be like Touch of Malice do the raid get the gun. 4 month after Taken king came out is when I got crux of crota for Necrochasm after it was not any good to use anymore, crux was harder to get to drop than Gjallarhorn for me! If Destiny2 is not all matchmaking or matchmaking with a solo option would be even better. I think I'm going to something else and not even getting it. Its fun with friend but its more just to play!

2 OdpowiedziI just recently got into Destiny. I play way more PC, but Destiny always interested me. I started playing the game and really liked it. I didn't realize until I finally got to end-game content that there is no grouping function for end-game. I'm definitely not going to use another application to find a group. This is not because I'm lazy, but because spending time searching forums is not a good use of my time. It's also a very inefficient and ineffective way to group. Based on what I've read online this is a primary reason that people stop playing once they hit end-game. I'm guessing Bungie has realized this. There must be something that prevents them from adding a lfg tool into the game. It's probably just cost prohibitive, or they're focusing their resources on Destiny 2. I know they've added a tool to the bungie app to help find groups, is them basically admitting that they messed up, but they don't want to spend the money on a real fix. I'll continue to play crucible, but the fun in that will fizzle out soon and I'll be another statistical data point of players who left shortly after reaching end-game content.

good thing i read edits because optional is fine, i like solo-ing or duo)ing my nightfalls i only look for a 3rd friend when i have no other choice because it's an annoying nightfall.

I support Optional Matchmaking on Nightfalls, BUT only if the option to kick afk'ers was available. [spoiler]plus, with remastered Strikes utilizing some raid mechanics, Bungie should implement Optional Raid Matchmaking on VoG & CE, and remove/raise the damage cap so its more in line with a Siva Crisis strike difficultly, just to see IF Optional Matchmaking is viable. Not sure how the rewards system would work given that it could turn into an Exotic farm.[/spoiler]

9 OdpowiedziThe line I keep hearing is "Well if it's optional..".. Yes. If it's optional. Just get it done. The problem... Is that Bungie's stated reason for not matchmaking is specifically to lock players out of specific content to try and force them to drag their friends into playing the game. This really needs to stop.

1 OdpowiedźI think it should be optional, as there are time when you may want to solo it. I think it would be cool if when in patrol and you got to a place such as the stairs that lead to Serious or says the Grotto, it would ask if you wanted to enter the strike or stay in patrol. It could also let you pick the NF if it is active that week. You would enter the strike with the fire team you are with, which means you could be solo. It would make the game more organic. Of course, I don't expect this now, but it would be cool for Destiny 2.
