IB and rift do not go together
So rift and iron banner, everyone hates it.
Bungie even said it was never going to happen again, BUT WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE? Bungie don't lie to us, ever. You should feel ashamed for making it rift even when you said it would never happen again.

I normally do not play Rift, so it has been a new challenge for me. But it's fun to play in different teams and to see what makes the difference between winning and loosing a match. Rift is about team play and map awareness/control. I have played against real good teams wich uses the complete map for attacks. Great! And yes my KD has suffered a little bit since Tuesday by playing against such teams as a solo player, but that is not a reason to complain about IB rift at all. Rift is more like a real time chess - a few false moves and you will loose the match.

1 OdpowiedźRift IB as a solo queue is the most painful experience known to man. Rift IB with a fire team of friends and clan mates is some of the most fun you'll have in this game. That is all.

4 OdpowiedziI agree and I hope that Bungo realizes that IB Rift is not very popular and takes it out of the rotation. My problem is this (my PERSONAL opinion): IB is the time where everyone is encouraged to go try PvP with the promise of getting high ranking rewards with minimal effort. Most people will definitely give it a shot and it's fun getting those IB exclusive items and rocking them outside IB events. IB IS where you'll see a bunch of unorganized ransoms trying their best. The tryhards, the good PvP players will obviously have an advantage, especially if they have a group of friends already and form a fireteam. That's not a common thing for IB events. With Clash, everyone just goes and kills whatever moves. Simple. With Control, it's fun to rotate and try to get the enemy. While you might have claimed a Zone just a second ago, maybe another guy came right behind you and claimed it right back. You wanna work as a team to raise your chances of success but you can also win by holding a few zones and scoring kills. Supremacy was laggy af and it sucked claiming crests but it really sometimes? But much like Clash, it kinda runs itself. Rift is NOT a mode you wanna have for a random, unorganized PvP event that IB represents. In most matches, I've only seen a leading team score the spark maybe once or twice, regardless of how good they are. There's too many damn people blocking your way! Even unorganized randoms will figure it a way to make it frustrating for an Elite team. And that's what gets me about IB Rift. It's frustrating. It's just enough for one team to dunk the spark once to realize chances are already against your team. With Control, you can rotate and change strategies. Same with the other modes. Rift is set. It's demoralizing to realize you've been placed in the losing team. Do you quit and cut your losses or do you suck it up in hopes of a better reward? Either choice is frustrating! ...Also, Shaxx yelled at me on the one match where the scores were really close somehow. He was an absolute dick. Uncalled for. :[ Tl;dr: IB Rift is frustrating. It's not worth playing it and it's the least popular IB game mode so far. 0/10, do not bring back.

On the contrary, it's the best. Does your team suck? Cool, it'll be a quick game. Is your team amazing? Cool, it'll be a quick game. Are both teams equally matched? It'll be an average game

It does suck donkey oysters and you rarely get a good match, but I will suffer through it I suppose for the swag. Bungie, please no more Rift IB from now on, it really is terrible, just f'n terrible.

Whoever or whomever is in charge of pvp is an idiot and stubborn as hell. If u play pvp u should know not to do rift as IB and fix weapon balance. IDIOTS

10 OdpowiedziI and my friends thought they said IB would never be rift again also. Needless to say this IB has been a real grind and not fun at all. IB rift sucks and I will not be trying to get all of my characters to 5 for sure, especially since there is no point to do so anymore. I felt supremacy was horrible because of the lag and not being able to pick up the orbs they drop when killed because of the lag from red bars and Bungie. I actually had more fun in that mess than I have in this mess we have now.

7 OdpowiedziMy 2 cents: The bounties for IB aren't in sync with the objectives. Control, play it like Clash; Rift, play it like Clash; Supremacy, play it like Clash. Now that leveling up IB rank doesn't do anything, other than unlocking the gear, winning doesn't matter.

For some reason, it has not been horrible. I thought it was going to be miserable and I was going to bail on rift. I have been seeing many red bars which are so annoying. I play solo and have enjoyed the game but don't care about the gear. I have been deleting majority of fusions so far and no distant star. I have the same one for rank 5 but with Zen movement instead of hidden hand. Saving my bounties for next time.
