Gotta love how all the tryhards suddenly start crying over trials finally getting a change, a positive one especially. Oh no other people outside the most elite eschalen of players might go flawless, better go throw a bitch fit on the forums about how this is the worst trials ever. And how it should never be like this again. Calm the -blam!- down boys

Lol so true.

So I propose a challenge. Since I'm the scrub, clearly, I challenge anyone with a kd of less than 1.3 to a 1v1. Oh what's that? I thought you said kd wasn't an indication of true skill. Your move kiddos Edit 2: to clarify, the challenge is meant to disprove the assertion that "try hards" aren't that skilled. If anyone with a kd of 1.3 or less beats me in a full 1v1 match then I will announce it on this post and recant my argument. Edit 3: if you are wanting to challenge me, send me a private message. I didn't think there would be this many replies so I'd rather not go fishing for the challengers lol Edit 4: according to little dave here, some of you are claiming to challenge me yet have not contacted me. I clearly stated to private message me if you want to challenge me. It is your job to follow up with me; I will not pursue and badger you if you don't reply to me. Edit 5: I have also challenged bigdave2640 both in the reply section here and in private message and he refuses to accept my challenge despite claiming to be better than me. You all are witnesses

I've never been closer to falling asleep while gaming than this week of trials.

Here's the thing... if you notice, a lot of "bad" players like this week's trials. I went flawless in it myself but just to prove a point... it took zero skill. Ever wonder why the "bad" players were able to beat good players this past week? I can't possibly be the only one who realized it took zero skill to hide a corner with a shot gun or sit on a red room door and wait for someone to walk by. Not to mention the sheer bore it was when it came down to a 1v1... I've never seen the capture point spawn so much in trials before. So if you think people are "crying" about it, then it might be good to analyze why.

it wasnt a positive change for many of us. im certainly not in the upper echelon and i go flawless all the time just for higher light gear. last week i only did 1 run just to get the emblem because i refuse to use shotguns or fusion rifles, no im not a sniper who sits in the back of maps and farms k/d i personally just dislike them and the no radar was annoying to me, luckily i have friends who are very good with shotguns and like pvp. your k/d your k/d blah blah. yeah i dont play much pvp because destiny's matchmaking system is total ass and i dont rush in with shotguns so i get less kills more often, on smaller maps especially, and play more to cover my teammates so they can get in and do what they do. some of us are old and dont care about getting all the kills, teamwork and strategy can get anyone to the lighthouse. this was definitely the worst trials ever but im sure next week is definitely going to be on first light and the cap point will be out in the open just to offset how they clearly catered directly to shotgunners and close range this week

2 OdpowiedziWasn't a fan. Mainly cause people would cower in a corner with a shotgun. Definitely the most anoying part. No radar promoted camping to the 100th degree.

Didn't run trials cuz I'm not that good in normal trials and I'm not a fan of inferno, but I think they should keep the no revives, that was a great idea and the way I've felt trials should've always been

Anyone complaining about not having tracker and better sound design and leaving it at that are bad. Counter strike doesn't necessarily have sounds nor a tracker as is. Though the opposite is just as true. Complain about not liking mechanics, but only doing so when things get harder? Just petty excuses git gud.

I don't like it but It was only for one week. Are people really that pissed about it?

1 OdpowiedźLovin the reaction to the whole inferno trials thing. The fighting in the forums has gone on far longer then the game mode itself - lol. Have tried it a few times (justa filthy casual) but never gotten into it. On the basis of all the feedback I might have to give it a go to see what the fuss is all about. As an aside - a mate I play with who has the reflexes of a cat (really annoying) and plays alot of trials - the lack of radar made no difference at all. He simply swapped from finding them with his radar to finding them with his eyes - at which point he closes in on them the same way he always does (his primary is a hand cannon and special is a fusion).

3 OdpowiedziTrials pushes a specific definition of skill based on the playstyle that arises from the specific confitions. And while there are people who are very capable regardless of the conditions and people who are absolutely struggling regardless of the conditions....the majority of people are heavily influenced by whether or not a specific set of conditions suits them or not. So when conditions change...so will the group that floats to the top. What your stats currently say is how good you are within specific conditions. That is the only thing it says...because that is what your stats represent.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Weeza: 11/2/2016 1:41:22 PMIf that change just happend before sniper nerf. 90% cqc maps, no radar and the current state of primary weapons of course shotguns would be more used than ever before but now this weeks trials was really a shotgunfest :/ i had fun and went flawless 3 times but i really mentioned this weekend how much of a disadvantage it is to use a sniper. If the maps would be bigger and had not so much cover jeez even with the current state of snipers shotgunners would be -blam!-ed with no radar.
-
I prefer trials like this, I've had no problem going flawless with or without a radar and revives. Everyone on forums who normally struggle with trials are saying it's better like this and that it's easier along with saying normally good trials teams can't play without a radar. All I'm saying is wait until we play a bigger map next week where a shotgun isn't your primary. It'll be back to the same old shit on the forums if we play a bigger map where primaries and snipers have more of a use. It'll be the same players who said it was better without a radar and revives posting for a change for the casual players again.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Rhyfil: 11/2/2016 7:10:01 AMA positive one? Lmao, the no radar just promotes camping trash cans with shot guns
-
9 OdpowiedziI think what we are learning this weekend is that without the crutch of a radar to hold them up, a lot of people are discovering that they are only average and not the precious snowflakes they thought they were.

18 OdpowiedziYep. You can't snipe one pathway and watch your radar for flanking. You can't toss your grenade around a corner because you see red. And you can't rez snipe. No wonder the MLG guys are pissed.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika MrsRoughDiamond: 11/1/2016 7:41:09 PMIt was fun the first hour, after 3 days it got pretty boring, so many campers. Had a lot of matches where the cap point activated because of no radar and very passive players. Normal toO > inferno toO

I just want loot I could care less if my K/D is good or bad If I'm mlg ok cool If I suck ok cool Either way I'm still going after that loot So yea...

25 Odpowiedzithis week of trials is all rng, trials is meant for the elite, scrubs arent meant to go to the light house ever, because their scrubs, this week is a perfect example of why this game is so close to dying. scrubs

This was a nice change to trials, I would not like to see it permanent but I did enjoy the change of game play for it. Had some very great and very close games and for the most part everyone was a pretty good sport which is great to see when a match drags to 4-4. It had very intense moments.
-
Not sure it's true or not but I heard the RealKraftyy didn't play trials this week because there was no radar. It's just what I heard so idk:

I don't understand them, they said a while ago, that they would love a no radar match, but instead they're crying

3 OdpowiedziPlayed a team who were definitely carrying a friend. They went 4:0 up and we came back to win. Afterwards they sent me a message about the apparent lag. Only thing was that my connection was perfect and so the argument went back and forth. "My nova bomb should have killed you"..... "I wasn't even in the same room when you shot that". Blah blah blah..... Simply put, there's no denying when a team of really skilled players turns up and wrecks havoc on your team. But the normally hard matches are all of a sudden very different and it's fun to play.
