Constantly getting rewards lower light than I am
From packages, exotics, trials and raid I keep getting rewards a point or two under my current light level of 386 I was progressing really fast at first and ever since I hit 385 it's been impossible to get rewards even at my light level never mind any progression I thought the light and infusion system was "fixed" so we don't feel like where getting useless rewards that don't help progression

I think it might be a soft cap at 385. So its going to be quite difficult to get past it until the max light increases to 400

4 OdpowiedziIf you would've read anything about RoI you'd know the light cap is 385 until the HM raid comes out. If you get anything over 385 right now it's a glitch.

I have ranked up about 15 times with my faction at minimum with rewards that suck. Maybe even closer to 25 now that I think about it

I just run endless Weekly Strikes kill boss get gear and engrams and keep going. I open 1 engram at a time and if it goes blue to purple I check it. Higher light infuse or equip and continue process.

Life is so hard, how will you ever survive. Roi hasn't even been out for 2 weeks and you scrubs are already complaining, it's your own damn fault for power lvl to 385 so fast. Destiny 2 is a year away, what's the rush lol it's a long road, enjoy it.

So Im LL 385 but there is now nothing but the raid to get me over that. I mean I cant get a ghost, and now all my packages are 384 about 8+ 384 when I am 385 light, and well this is killing this game for me. And reminding me why i stopped play after Crota. I really what this game to be great, but stuff like this just ruins the game for me. Oh well...

1 OdpowiedźI've levelled out at 365 as everything has been at that level from heroic strikes to even exotics I've had a few breaks though with a 368 graviton, nm ghost from packages

The cap is supposed to be 385 until hardmode but you can get higher drop in certain places like the Outbreak quest and the nightfall.

I got a 386 primary and ghost yesterday from Dead Orbit packages

12 OdpowiedziWas receiving 387 gear up until the patch the other day. Now all I get is 384/385. They ninja changed something. This goes for faction, vanguard, crucible and exotics. Time to start saving again and be ready for the next patch that brings light level up to 400 for hardmode. Do all 3 exotic pulse quests as well for the 390 primary. I rcvd a 389 helmet from the nightfall, but that was b4 the hotfix.

For real dude. 385 is the cap till the hard mode drops. Anything you get past that is a bug or the new exotic. You arent supposed to be above 385 till hard mode releases

The light cap is technically 385 until Hard Mode comes out. Some people have been able to get 386/7 but you really can't go past a few light levels up.

If you have any gear that's a much lower level then you are currently, it can hold back the rewards you get. For example, you titan is has a bunch of stuff over 380, but the sniper is 365. Get your sniper up the same light level as your other stuff and you should get better stuff. Also 385 is the cap so that might have something to do with it.
