On bladedance class going invisible should take you off radar unless running otherwise its pointless! And lets not forget about the problem everyone has with this sub class the blink strike, its broken it almost never works properly. Please fix bungie!!

4 OdpowiedziFrom a guy who mains a hunter to another. Stop crying. Cloaking does take you off radar. Blink strike range. Yeah its lower. You know what works better at close range than blink strike? A shotgun. Adapt to the game. People are going to cry and bitch for nerfs messing with things that other people like. When it happens, get over it or play something else. Hope this has been educational for you.

2 OdpowiedziI love when even though they are invisable the auto aim kicks in and you head shot them even with a sniper lol
-
It does take you off radar. However people at this point can easily spot an invisible hunter and take them out.

7 OdpowiedziBlink strike is very powerful. Stop asking for a buff, you pitiful hunter. #MakeSunsingersGreatAgainAndAlsoNerfWomboComboAndStrikerTitans

28 OdpowiedziHunters are already too overpowered as it is. Buff warlocks and titans.

2 OdpowiedziBlade is ok. Tether is broken, it doesnt supress on impact and titans can skate through em because of the delay. Countless times ive been killed by supers because of the annoying delay. For eg blade have time to catch up on me and kill me before the effect kicks in. Ive done it too while using blade and being suppresed.

42 OdpowiedziI mostly play Bladedancer. I've always felt the invis was in a good place, but would not mind it being a little bit better. :) As far as Blink Strike I have not noticed a lot of problems where it "almost never works" since the hit detection fix went out. Can you describe what you are seeing when using it? Does anyone else feel it's not working properly more often than not?

Blade dancers are in a good spot currently

3 Odpowiedzi
On bladedance class going invisible should take you off radar unless running otherwise its pointless! Please fix bungie!!
Nowhere does he say, in this post here, the broken properties of blink strike. Not its range, hit detection, anything. That is what I am implying. If the author wants to address it, (which he has) perfect! Let him do it. You have educated me. You made me learn that you are incapable of comprehending basic literature. Thank you for the lesson.

Seems invis works differently depending on how it was activated. a good watch

6 OdpowiedziStrangely enough I thought invisibility was meant to take you off the radar. I noticed recently that invisible bladedancers were appearing on my radar as normal.
-
2 OdpowiedziIf you go invis you appear on the radar as if you were crouching. If you crouch while invis you dont appear on the radar at all. (I could be wrong)
-
when invis you are off the radar unless you run, thing is when you go invis there is an audio cue that tells everyone "Hey! someone just went invis" so the observant player will keep an eye for any invis hunters, jumping and running will ping you on radar and make u a bit more visible but walking makes you hard to detect. invis is fine

I suspect the times you get detected with invis in when you're up against an opponent with one or other weapons sights that either detect damage or an active super (I know you can get suros and omloron rifles like that, not sure about hakke weapons). Not completely sure but I've had numerous instances of running around a corner carrying a slight amount of damage from a previous engagement, totally invisible, only to have an opponent crouched down and ready with a nasty shotgun or fusion rifle - but hey, that's crucible. Might also be the case that I was doing the obvious thing of running around a corner as expected - duh (I jump around corners now). I've done the same to other blade dancers when running as a night stalker using keen scout and a righteous 7 with enemy detection. Not sure which sight does it - but a bit of damage from either a scatter or smoke grenade and they light up like a christmas tree regardless of where they crouch. Invis has never really been that major an advantage in crucible I think since the obvious shimmer of the cloak is pretty easy to pick up. The real benefit is the ability to get you around a map and flank an opponent undetected. Having said all that - I agree that hunters might need some work. Blink strike is a bit hit and miss now (possibly a combination of having less power and a very short range)? In a melee fight with a titan or a warlock - a titan's damage or warlock range will win out. It was never really a one strike kill in the first place I guess, but now you really need to be close, facing them, and have one of the gaunlets with added melee speed to get two strikes in before you're wasted. Added to that the super is very space specific. With hammers, void bombs, lightning - close or open its gonna hurt. With arc blade you need to be close to opponents and in a reasonably confined space and have them reasonably unaware to get a multikill. In an open map - its one maybe two kills if you can catch them before it runs out (granted - sort of the same for a stormcaller too but that super goes on forever). Added to that the blade dancer grenades are midly annoying at best (compared to say the dreaded titan lightning grenade or warlock void scatter grenade). And as for defender titans with supression grenades, universal remote, and no back up plans - arrrggghhhhhh.....stuff of nightmares! Overall though - its still good fun. I'm ok with the idea that arc blade is a short range, short duration super without the ability to get multiple simultaneous kills like a striker, nova bomb, storm caller, etc. I'd be happy enough for BD to stay as it is if the melee were a bit more relilable, and the grenades were a bit less humorous.

Finally somebody is talking about this backstabbing from the front is still a thing, I like the invisible thing though it throws enemies off when in melee battle.
-
" it almost never works " if by that you mean it still 1 shot kills people right in the face, then yea.
-
6 OdpowiedziHaha hunters need work? Have you tried warlock sunsinger recently? I think a few subclasses need work but sunsingers need it the most.
-
3 OdpowiedziIf it doesn't take you off radar that needs fixed. My main issue with the Hunters is that max armor Titans are faster than they are. Bungie Please!
-
3 OdpowiedziSo what you mean is...
nerf fusion rifles
To crouch or not to crouch? ~ Faust the Hunter.

And yes blink strike still 1hits in the front please fix or just delete and replace the whole perk (backstep perk)

3 OdpowiedziSo Bungie will interpret this as nerf Blade Dancer again?
