Bungie: How about unlocking unique shaders/emblems upon reaching certain Grimoire scores? With the reward books you have released for SRL/MOT/and the new one in ROI I could think of nothing better than to use one of those to unlock special rewards at certain grimoire scores. Would be great that at every 500 or 1000 grimoire you get a shader/emblem or something else like an ornament/weapon/sparrow/ship etc... I think it would be a great addition to the game whats everyone else think about it?

That be cool. Grimoire is really the only thing left in destiny i haven't completed. Mainly cause I'm not a fan of the crucible and there's no real incentive to maxing it out.

I have hard to get emblems.... So, I'm on both sides of the road. Yes, because the grind to max was real and no, because of private matches.

4 OdpowiedziI like this idea. Many people care about their Grimoire Score and even go on hunts to get 'em all. But I am unsure about the "every 500 or 1000 Score" thresholds. I would rather like to see certain thresholds based on the Grimoire Score added with every (major) Update. I remember that back in Vanilla Destiny the cap was even under 3000 Grimoire Score. I would like to see thresholds which are aimed at, let's say, getting 2/3 of all Grimoire Score added with an Update. Imagine Rise of Iron adds 1000 Grimoire Score. You would be required to get at least 650 Grimoire Score to get a nice Emblem or Shader. That would lead to players having to complete all the basic things in a new Update, but they wouldn't be required to farm everything. [spoiler] [b]Please note that I am not a Bungie Employee. 1 OdpowiedźI like this idea. I'm not maxed out, and with a new expansion coming (and in general) people could set new goals and milestones with it. Either way it's a grind for it all, it doesn't feel rewarding at all currently for reaching high grimore scores.

This is already in the game my friend. It is called Rewards. They populate when you do stuff. Do I deserve a New Shader because I hit 2000 Score, or 3000... what about 4000... Almost at 5000... I wasn't going to play doubles, but for that Shader tho... I am all over it. Considering the majority comes from simply playing 3 characters, playing PVE and Playing PVP, and the other majority comes from simply Finding Ghosts and adding Exotics to your kiosk. Seriously, There are codes for grimoire, websites for finding ghosts and fragments, so basically a handful of dudes already set up EVERYONE that watches their videos, or uses their websites, to get to 3500 in a few days... The reward should go to those websites.

Really no reason to grind for it unless you really enjoy the game, I'm sitting at max and would keep going for max regardless of a reward but if they did it kinda like the skins on guns in MW3 I could see people going for it happily
