Who's going blind into the new raid?
I'm back y'all 😉
Hopefully we can kick off raid #4 with a bang!
Try to tune out all the twitch streams, forums posts, reddit posts and all the YouTube videos!
So, who's going into this blind?
Anyone want to speculate what may happen?
Also, any of you trying to go for world's first?

My clan went in blind for Crota's end and it was the most fun and exciting thing that I've experienced in Destiny. I went into King's Fall knowing a lot of what happens and while it was still fun and SO AWESOME, it had less of a surprise effect. I plan on Helen Keller-ing the new raid.

Have been a day 1, VOGer... day 1 CE... day 1 KF... But I'm actually going to sit back and focus on the Iron Lords this time. I'd rather take my time with this raid which has already been quoted in the Bungie updates to be focused on continual movement. Coordination in my opinion is more important then combat. This is why it's called Dungeoneering in D&D.

Gone into every raid blind so far. Mechanics got confusing so someone inevitably Googled what to do. KF took so long. Omg. I'm glad the new raid has an emphasis on combat and panic and movement than just memorizing a bunch of mechanics.

The best experience I ever had in gaming was doing VOG the first time blind. The team from then on went on to do everything as a group until this year so If I do get ROI it will be alot tougher without the familiarity. LFG can be very hit and miss and it would a miracle to go in blind with randoms and complete it blind. If I don't pre-order I am sure I will get itchy thumbs as the date closes in.

Doesn't matter about going in a Raid blind for some reason people always goofs on things all the time.

2 OdpowiedziI can honestly say going blind into a new raid with 5 friends is some of the most fun you can have in Destiny (as long as you're not a bunch of rage-quitters). Even if you don't raid normally you should try it atleast once. From the general insanity that ensues & people's reactions to bosses/raid mechanics (our first time doing the ships in KF was hilarious), to trying to put your heads together to actually beat the damn thing, the whole experience is priceless.

That would be fun considering I haven't got to do that yet. It's just difficult because once the raid has been out for a mere few hours people expect you to know already. I'm on the One and plan on having Rise of Iron launch day and playing after work...add me if you wanna create a blind group. I'm pretty good at raiding and at destiny overall

I really wanna try...was hoping to with KF but it never happened. This time I have 3 people I play with regularly plus others who do it occasionaly who may be up for it... I also want to continue to try to avoid info about what's coming in general, not just the raid....not super hardcore spoiler-avoidance, but, ya know, I just want to go in not knowing what exactly to expect.

Who doesn't go in blind o. Day 1. It's the single most fun experience in destiny. You guess all day what to do until you beat it. Then later rewatch streams of all the dudes going for world first doing the same.

So this is how it works? Everyone says they're going into the raid blind. After a week or two, we'll start hearing the complaints about all of the people who don't know what they're doing and suggest they go to YouTube to learn "the mechanics" before attempting the raid.

Worlds first won't happen unless you're a bungie boy with the extra help that comes with that awesome little title Going into the raid blind though? Hell yeah most fun I ever had doing kings fall was that first time

I have gone into every raid blind, never understood the concept of pretty much knowing everything about the raid before every actually trying it. About the only time I look into and strategy guides is if and only if after numerous attempts I just can't seem to beat a particular aspect of the game.
