Apple by far has never disappointed me on their reliability.
However, I want to move to the PC realm for gaming. Which brand is as close to Apple for reliability. Reliability includes how long the machine will last for, how often it crashes or malfunctions, needs repairs, etc..
EDIT: Thanks for the helpful answers. A custom built one is the way to go.

That brand, " I built it in my -blam!-ing garage". That's my favorite

Gotta build it from the ground up dude. Any prebuilt gaming PC is gonna run you $500+ over what it would be if you just built it yourself.
-
I'm assuming you mean someone who will send you a prebuilt PC? If that's the case then I have no idea. Build your PC. Always build it.

One thing that will really help out your system stability and Longevity is investing in a quality power supply. EVGA and seasonic both offer exceptional power supplies and are easy to come by. The g2 and p2 evga and seasonic Platinum are where you want to look. If you plan to do any overclocking this becomes even more important as you will need extremely stable voltage. 6600k or 6700k CPU. Find a motherboard that you like. Find some low latency Ram. Get a quality hard drive. Figure out how much video card you're going to need for the resolution you want to run. Enjoy

Take a weekend to learn how to build one. Its not very hard despite it feeling intimidating, and the end product is cheaper and runs more in line with what you want it to do

You should build a PC if you're looking to switch. Definitely don't get a laptop for gaming. EVGA'S stuff has the best warranties, but any common gaming brands like MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte are great for internals like motherboards and graphics card. Intel for CPU. Western digital for hard drives, Samsung or Intel for SSD. Seasonic or EVGA for PSU.

Lift Her Tail's Computers. Never have failed me.

MSI has great hardware, they will last as long as you look after them.

Desktop or Laptop? I have to recommend building your own over buying a prebuilt, though. It's cheaper and you won't have to deal with all of the bloatware PC manufacturers install on their systems.

Msi, is decent if you're on a budget...

Have no -blam!-ing clue but I'll bump
