5 Exotics No One Uses (From What I've Seen)
Let's just start a simple list of Exotics that are actually pretty good, but that no one utilizes.
1.) The Taikonaut. This helmet is pretty amazing, considering that you can have Grenades and Horseshoes, Clusters, and the tracking from the helmet and have a mini Gjallarhorn, but that's not the point. More heavy ammo spawns with all Rocket Launchers having tracking? Pretty cool, never seen 1 Guardian using it since Year 2.
2.) Tlaloc. Yup. Can't recall being killed by this beauty, but I use it all the freakin' time! Even when the super isn't charged, it behaves just like a Hung Jury, and is easy to learn.
3.) The 4th Horseman. I love this gun for PvE and PvP, but haven't run across too many of them for it to count. This shotgun is simply beast, fully upgraded it can sweep out many enemies with one clip, AND grant the chance to repelenish that clip. Not only that, but the Fire Rate is aawesome.
4.) Hard Light. This weapon is really hard to get killed by simply because of its rarity in both the crucible and PvE. Haven't seen too many, which is a shame because I love the gun. If only Bungie would add Rainbow Lasers to it...
5.) Dreg's Promise. I honestly love this gun, and was so hyped for it when it dropped for me. The seeking rounds and the insane fire rate, as well as the recoil control on this gun allots for the perfect sidearm for close to medium quarters engagements. But no one uses it, maybe because it doesn't drop or people just don't like it?
These were the least encountered exotics for me, lemme know what you think in the comments about my list and maybe add a list of your own.
Keep in mind that these weren't posted from rare to more common or in order, just 5 exotics I hardly ever see that are actually pretty decent.

EDIT 2: Keep in mind I said that these were exotics I hardly never see being used. If you have had a different experience, say so, but just keep this in mind.

Tlaloc and hard light are used a lot. Boolean Gemini is never used. I don't see people using patience and time nor super good advice much anymore.

Tlaloc: It's a weak archetype Scout. Why use it when there are better ones available to all classes? 3. 4th horseman has retarded stability to the point it's almost impossible to fire just a couple of rounds and keep it aimed at anything 4. Hardlight: I used Hardlight in year 1 and it was ok...I've used it year 2 and it's just meh now.. 5. Dreg's promise: it's a gimmicky sidearm that wastes an exotic slot. It's underpowered for what it brings to the table. Ironwreath is much better. So was the vestian dynasty These are all observations I've come across. With the exception of tlaloc I've used everyone of these exotics. I'm not trying to be rude but there are better weapons that aren't being used (most don't take an exotic slot)

10 Odpowiedzimy version of The Top 5 Most Unused Exotics is 1) Skyburners Annex. This Hunter helmet is completely pointless 2) Patience and Time never see anybody using this 3) Super Good Advice. 4) ATS/8 Arachnid have never used this helmet(it's chest counterpart is however excellent) 5) Don't Touch Me. the only place this exotic would ever be used was in Crota's End during the lamps and that's long gone

Most seen exotics (and annoying). Last Word, MIDA, and Truth. OK the primaries are just annoying, but really, people can't learn how to use rockets, have to pick the one requiring no skill.

Without overflow Tlaloc might have same rate and impact as hung jury But the other perks are sub standard you're better off using another gun when it's not charged

For many of these guns, it's not because I find them bad, I just have other things that I like better. [u]Taikonaut[/u]: I agree, this was a piece I was pumped to get when it was announced. However, my Titan discovered exotic swords, and now rarely uses RL's in PvE. As for PvP, he likes sticky grenades, so he uses Armamentarium. [u]Tlaloc[/u]: I only play my warlock as a stormcaller, and he is Super-focused. Ergo, he is unlikely to sit on his Super, and therefore unlikely to benefit from this gun. [u]4th Horseman[/u]: This was actually my first exotic, way back in Y1. And while it's a beautiful gun, its short range and insane recoil make it hard to use effectively. Invective has better range and regens ammo. [u]Hard Light[/u]: I see some people using this one, actually. If you know the trick of guiding the ricochets into your enemy, it will work well for you (and be fun to watch, too). But I'm inclined to prefer low-speed high-damage weapons like SUROS regime.

Dregs promise is outgunned by literally everything, even my ironwreath-D. It was cool for a while though.

They have more utility than being useful during a single heavy from in pvp. 2) I've been killed by it on a couple of occasions, however waiting for the super is a pain. Also it puts you in a position of hanging onto a super. Without the super it acts like an average hung jury. Which is not a great pvp weapon. 3) waste of an exotic, limited range, not a lot of great scenarios pop up for using this. Plan C is a better option with greater utility. 4) you don't play much iron banner, or if you do your not paying attention. I bump into it regularly. It's fairly decent, fun to use. 5) since the damage nerf and ammo nerf this is no longer a good option, Bungie said the 40% damage nerf would be compensated for by better tracking, as far as I can tell the tracking is not making up for the 40% damage nerf. This gun is seriously broken. Again Plan C is a far better exotic secondary.

I see Hardlight, but not the others. I wouldn't waste my exotic slot on a tracking helmet compared to the other options.

1 OdpowiedźI don't mean to rain on your parade but dregs promise, 4th horseman and hardlight aren't used for good reason. You exaggerated them way beyond thier actual versatility, the tracking rounds on the promise for example are definitely not "insane" haha

I stopped using the Taikonaut once i got a launcher with tracking but I love the look of it. Last night in PvP was the first time i'd seen the No Time To Explain rifle, i'm amazed anyone found a team to go get it out of the VOG.

2 Odpowiedzi#1 is kinda worthless since outside of PvP RL's are not the best choice. #2 just sucks without a charged super,in no way can be compared to the HJ(more the old vender version). #3 had it's hayday for 1 week in Y1 for the level 35 PoE when was arc burn(2nd week of HoW). #4 I use it off/on just for the sound,terrible sights though. #5 just sucks,always has and always will. The most worthless exotics are............... -Titan only AR -NLB
