Server errors deleted characters
Bungie your system deleted my warlock it was at 327 I did not delete it. I was in orbit my character showed at zero I went to change characters then it took me to the create a class screen. I closed the app then to find out from my app that my warlock was gone. Check your history for my characters and put my warlock back. This is your error not the consumer.

This is one of my bigger fears about Destiny, that Bungie could -blam!- up something on their end I could end up losing almost 2 years of Destiny progress spread across 6 characters just like that. The other day I was playing and I was at the Cryptarch decrypting engrams when the screen suddenly went blank, next thing I knew, one of those "error codes" flashed up on the screen and I was suddenly back in orbit. For a few seconds the game kept insisting my lv.40 character was lv.1, I could not see my ship on the orbit screen and when I opened up my menu I could not see my character, any of my loot or my Grimoire score. Needless to say the experience was a bit scary. Thankfully, after a few s nods of panic, everything came back.

1 OdpowiedźIf this is true, then I'm not playing Destiny until they have addressed this and fixed this problem. That's bullshit if Bungie doesn't restore your character [i](they say they don't restore characters, but i know they easily can)[/i] since it was their fault and responsibility for this to even happen in the first place. If this were to happen to me and I lost all my god roll Tier 12 armor and my beloved Matador, I would honestly just delete everything, uninstall everything, and trade in my Destiny game for something else. All of those hours played, endless grinding, lucky rng rolls... gone in seconds because Bungie fcked up once again.

I was sitting in orbit as level zero everything when logging on today with constant "contacting Destiny servers" messages, but it never booted me off the game though. I waited until everything eventually loaded in before I did anything, and things went smoothly, that's my advice to avoid this again, but the fact we have to worry about this at all is absolutely unacceptable. This entire update on a technical level is a complete lapse in judgment and lack of quality control on Bungie's part. I'm a little paranoid to play now until this is fixed, I don't want to run the risk of losing my characters. [i]If[/i] this will be fixed that is...
