Server errors deleted characters
Bungie your system deleted my warlock it was at 327 I did not delete it. I was in orbit my character showed at zero I went to change characters then it took me to the create a class screen. I closed the app then to find out from my app that my warlock was gone. Check your history for my characters and put my warlock back. This is your error not the consumer.

They can determine if the loss was due to a server error or if you did accidentally delete your character. [spoiler]I don't know how you could accidentally delete it![/spoiler]

I want to call bullshit, but with all the other shit going on, and seeing as you're not the only one claiming his happened to, I'm curious now. I think I'll lay off destiny for a bit, just like I have been for the last month lol. Good luck getting your character back man, I would hate to lose one of my characters.

Actually because of that mess yesterday, i was at 3 wins trials wont 4th match but it didnt give it to me because green bar and contacting destiny servers, waited 30 jumped back in trials, lost gave me a loss and that previous match although winning took away my mercy

Bump, during that mess last night my warlock kept showing as 0 light. I quit out and waited an hour and was fine after.

4 OdpowiedziM8, this almost happened to me. Same things, all until the point where you closed the app. What I did, I just pressed back to the character screen and my Warlock was fine. Sorry to say this, but closing the application cost you an character. This happened to me about a week ago.

Go back and listen to the streams of the expansions, especially the house of wolves expansion, where a community leader who I shouldn't have to name was running his character through to show the community what the new expansion included. He opened his inventory and clearly stated he had never gotten gjallarhorn to drop, and he didn't feel right having it since others had worked so hard, blah blah blah. His inventory was stocked full of weapons that were popular at the time. There's a difference between they can't give you your things back, and they won't give you your things back. I really doubt they leave you hanging if you actually get ahold of someone with Bungie, especially since they acknowledge the servers being crazy here lately. They can get to the bottom of it. And if they don't attempt to find a solution, it's gonna look reeeallllllllllll bad for a game that's counting on another expansion and more updates to keep this game alive until the sequel releases. I hope they help you out man. Sucks to hear. Especially if you put in a lot of time.

3 OdpowiedziI just think it's odd that your character would just be removed so cleanly. I would think if there were some kind of corrupt data or a glitch he would more likely show up with odd stats or cause the game to crash when trying to play with it. I know I've had other saved games get deleted or overwritten by my kids before, or without paying enough attention to what I'm doing I've accidentally discarded a stack of materials instead of using the item next to it. I'm not saying this is all a lie because there could be that very slim chance that your not. But if you accidentally deleted your character the correct response isn't to put doubt and worry in the forum community by making up this story in hopes that bungie fixes your mistake for you.
