I think we've made our opinion on on black shield clear
It is literally the worst trials map that could be selected. It is the campiest, headglitchiest map that I know to exist. Nobody likes it. It sucks.

I don't like PvP myself, but I do like watching others play PvP, so I actually watch a lot of Trials on Twitch. What I've found is that: All maps have places to headglitch. All trials players camp (honestly, it's stupid not to about 75% of the time). Black Shield and Bannerfall are two of the best maps for Trials. Bungie.net community will bitch about anything.
