"CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!"
There are a few rules to keep in mind when exploring a dark and creepy local after waking up with no recollection of how you got there.
1: Stay very, very quiet. Walk slowly and carefully, and do not say a word
2: Do not, under any circumstances, turn on a light. If it gets too dark to see, stay put, let your eyes adjust, then walk even slower.
3: For the love of all that is sane and right in the world, DO NOT follow the sound of strange chanting - ESPECIALLY if it sends an unnatural shiver down your spine and hurts just to hear.
If only I had actually listened to myself, I might not be running back the way I came with some abomination against reality hot on my heals. Oh well. Better keep running.
I took quick peek behind me, before whipping my head back the other way. Nope, still too horrifying to comprehend, just like it was five minutes ago.
Also, can I just say that running for your life does wonders for one's stamina?

[i]You hear some more chattering from the walls. Looks like more of those things.[/i] "Welp, time to go."

I paled. "Right, questions later, hell-outta-dodge now."

[i]Xavier pulls out his rifle, which glowed a little bit as he loaded in a new mag. A couple of those freaks busts through the wall.[/i]

"Let's multitask, shall we? Shoot as we run!"

"You got any guns?" [i]Xavier begins to shoot down the Tyranids.[/i]

"Yeah, it's just up my ass and around the bend- NO, OF COURSE NOT! DON'T YOU THINK I WOULD BE USING IT IF I DID?!" Ok, probably not the most productive use of breath, but gimme a break: where before there was only one of the damn things, now there were [i]three[/i]. I think I was entitled to a little bit of panic-induced hyper-sarcasm. In any case, we were rapidly running in the opposite direction, while my savior fired at the things to keep them at bay. My only hope was that we would get to safety soon, before any of them actually grew a pair and just charged us.

[spoiler]Daemons. You know, chanting, abomination against reality, too horrifying to comprehend?"[/spoiler] "Which way?!" I yelled frantically, having just come across a cross roads.

[spoiler]Look back at the opener real quick. The first one was a daemon. You know, creature from the Warp, minion of Chaos?[/spoiler] "Whatever you say!" I responded, bolting down the the corridor.

[i]Xavier fires off a few more shots before he starts running. Hopefully, they aren't catching... Up... Well, they are running faster than he expected.[/i]

[i]Shitshitshitshitshit![/i] "I really hope you've got a plan to get us out of here!"

[i]You notice that he pulls out a weird device of sorts. It seemed to radiate with some sort of purple energy.[/i] "Brace yourself..." [i]Xavier's glasses crack a little bit.[/i]

[i]Thank God for shit vision and thick lenses[/i], I thought. "Please tell me that's a teleporter."

"This may take up most of my energy, so when we get through all of this, you'd better help me." [i]Xavier's hands start to generate a huge ball of Psionic energy. He releases it, constructing a sort of purple black hole in front.[/i]

I tumbled through, surprised by the shove, somewhat less so than the change in mood. He was probably tired of me screaming my head off. Standing up, I took a look around, taking in my new surroundings.

You can't really tell what they are, but at least you know you are safe.[/i] [i]Xavier tumbles through the Psionic black hole, a little tired. Well actually, he is VERY tired. He tries to stand up, but falls to his knees.[/i]

"Easy there, buddy, I got ya," I said, throwing his arm over my shoulders. "Where to, hero?"

"I'm probably going to have to lay down for a hour or two, so... I need to set me down on the couch in my room." [i]He points to one of the doors as he says that.[/i]

"So, where are we, anyway?" I asked as I helped him over to door and tried to open it.

[i]Xavier pats his pockets for his key or keycard, then gives it to him.[/i] "Basically, rooms for people who get introduced into the Bloodwrath."

Using the keycard, I opened the door, spotting the couch immediately and making a bee-line for it. I'm not a 90 pound weakling, but I'm still far from what one would call strong. Nonetheless, we made it over with out incident, and I put him down gently on the couch. Then, I took a look around the room.

[i]It's basically every house that is in a typical neighbourhood. There's the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, e.t.c. There's also a room that looks like some sort of armoury or training course, which you don't normally find in a house.[/i]
