I'm sure for destiny standards, it will be fairly priced. As far as general gaming standards, way over priced.
-
Bargain. I'd pay treble.
-
I like to get $1/hour in games I have spent about $150(Canadian) on destiny so far I have about 800 hours played so no matter what dlc they release I will buy it because bungie has always given me good value for my money
-
I don't know about others but the SRL and April update were my free events and I enjoyed them both and got some good play time. If I have to pay £25 for a new dlc big deal, il get hours of enjoyment out of it like all previous dlcs.

2 OdpowiedziI want Bungie to release financial data and a chart on how much money they made on Micro-Transactions, and how much they actually spent on "Free Dlc". A new raid is worth 20 not more.

5 OdpowiedziI too think it's priced about right but take into account the cost of a new console for some and it's a ridiculous amount to charge and then take into account you'll more than likely have to buy all the previous content again on next gen it's not looking so good is it. Then take into account those of us with teenagers who want to play it you can be looking at well over $1000 to buy a dlc for 3 people.
-
Absolutely, the only other game I've pored hours upon hours is runescape and Pokemon games. I'd say once you hit 300 hours into game you got a good deal.
-
Welp, this is gonna be a lot of fun!
-
This is the destiny forums, my friend Rules: 1. If it's not free it should be 2. Our content isn't good enough even if it's free 3. Bungie making money will ruin the game 4. Destiny is the worst game of all time and every player playing it is either in the process of quitting or a stupid fanboy, the community is completely dead and the 10 posts/minute on the trials board are robots and fanboys
-
They already have my $30
-
I'd agree with you, the amount of time I have spent in destiny I'd say overall it's great value for money.
-
Love the fact that its gunna be $30.00!
-
Started playing when it first came out. Purchased all the DLC's, and I think the price of Rise of Iron is fine. I have no problem with it.

4 OdpowiedziExtremely fair All the people that are disagreeing are the kids that can't afford it :(

2 Odpowiedzidont get ahead of yourself, we only have a vague idea of whats included. for all we know this could be another HoW or TDB on our hands. who knows how much campaign content we will get, and so far the only pre-order bonus is a black/silver gally, we dont get a new destination, we dont seem to get a new class/subclass, its gonna be 1 raid, maybe 2 strikes and thats pretty much it. im half expecting to be ripped off and forcefed re-hashed content AND all previous content to be completely useless AGAIN. thats my biggest bitch, we pay for new content but we are paying for all of our previous content to become useless. ill be impressed if they update any raids, or have a higher level strike playlist. as far as im concerned. TTK was the only real expansion, and its been proven that a lot of that content INCLUDING the Dreadnaught was originally intended for vanilla launch. so what did we really pay for anyway? $135 for the original vanilla game BEFORE ACTIVISION got their hands on it. its like this (from what i understand) BUNGIE comes to the table and says "this is what we got, but we need some more time to get this content polished and ready" ACTIVISION: "oh wow, this looks nice, great job guys, but tough shit, this is the deadline ##/##/####. so lets do this, (grabs multiple pieces from vanilla), ok, these are all now DLC expansions, GREAT, get back to work". and here we all are paying extra for that shit when it was supposed to be vanilla. i feel like a fool for paying for it (twice even)360/PS4. so i agree AND disagree with a lot of people on here. but im skeptical on the amount of content we will actually get, i have a feeling it wont be much.
-
i think $300 is more reasonable. oh wait...
-
I agree.

8 OdpowiedziConsidering they mentioned doing shady practices with Silver was going to fund to give us new free content was not the case, the only accepted price is $0 and $15 at most. This is not me being entitled. Nor me being broke, trust me. But my money would rather bet this raid was part of the raid we never got with HoW

1 Odpowiedź£25 in uk which is about $40. Not so great for us. But standard new game price here is £50-60 or about $80 so we shouldnt be surprised.
-
Seeing as I have to pay £25 which is about $40 then yeah id say youre getting a better deal than us in the uk.
-
I am in for the 10 year(or however long plan) you know the long haul....if only to say see my (shader, emblem, or whatever they give then) I been here the whole time

Absolutely fair

1 OdpowiedźCheap people man, get a job . 30 is nothing

70 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Dexter Grif: 6/11/2016 5:04:23 PMI don't think it is at all. I mean world of warcraft expansions cost 40. And they come with a minimum of 5 raids, 16 dungeons (strikes), 16 hours of story missions, new classes and races to play as, entirely new enemy factions and races, brand new weapons, about 5 different social zones, and an entirely new payable area the size of all destiny zones combined. So no, by comparison to similar titles it is not worth it

$20-$25. dollars(US) in my opinion is better because let's face it nothing from TTK will be relevant anymore unless the Infusion system is permanent and the level cap for ALL gear and weapons is consistently updated with each New DLC to Make it relevant because honestly the grind can become somewhat tedious or annoying if it consistently get's left behind with each fricking update that doesn't make anyone happy no one at all is happy when everything they earned thru hrs of effort and grinding is made pointless with each update.
