Releasing the "Plaguelands", the area outside of the cosmodrome wall, will no doubt excite fans of the game. But wasn't it already shown in the vanilla game Vidoc?
Edit: read earlier comments before repeating something that has already been said.

There you go m8s. Proof right there.
Another edit: Bungie also said not so long ago that they wouldn't be selling anymore dlc until the sequel release. Bet you've all forgotten about that though haven't you?

I bet they also know how it ends.

I'm sure it was called Plague of Darkness

1 OdpowiedźAnd the phone you're typing on was obsolete when you bought it. It's manufacturer had an better model shelved so the could recover investment costs by selling it to you.

5 OdpowiedziSilly billy.
-
1 OdpowiedźWell sorry they planned their franchise before they started making it.
-
2 OdpowiedziFuсk it, I don't care anymore. ANYTHING is better than the supply drop system

I heard that Bungie did a planning before making game series. Planning things and stuff long time before things and stuff released. Bungie should have released all 10 years of content on day one. Stupid Bungie doing planning things.
-
I don't know about the Vidoc, but they did showed some concept art that makes me think that this whole rise of iron theme was in the works since the beginning.
-
1 OdpowiedźSsshhhhh don't let Y2 players know what they did to Y1 players.
-
5 OdpowiedziMuted That can never be said enough!
-
1 OdpowiedźJust because your parents didn't plan you doesn't mean everything has to be that way.
-
1 OdpowiedźTechnically Rise of Iron was supposed the be the big year TWO DLC in place of Taken King. The original name for taken King, far before we knew anything about it, was the "Plague of Darkness" which can only describe one thing... The SIVA virus. But late in destiny's development they changed their plot quite seriously and decided to pull the dreadnaught out of vanilla release and then pushed it back and used it for taken king. (Yes dreadnaught was supposed to be in vanilla destiny) and by doing so they effectively pushed back all their DLC plans an extra year... This DLC included.
-
8 OdpowiedziTons of content was shown or rumoured to be part of the game prior to vanilla, some that we have got like the Reef and the Dreadnaught with expansions and some that we haven't seen yet like Old Chicago. Then there was content that was rumoured to be part of Comet (the internal name for what became the Taken King) such as the European Deadzone and a new area on Mars, Europa was also something that has been said to have been in development for some time but this was the first time I had heard about the Plaguelands being a thing. If you have any links to information that mentions this area or enemy being something that was originally going to be part of Vanilla I would love to see it.

9 OdpowiedziFallout 4 and all its dlc is currently free on the Xbox store right now. Not kidding.
-
4 OdpowiedziUnless you have proof, I'm going to go ahead and assume that you're lying in attempt to make Bungie sound bad. Thanks though.

Edytowany przez użytkownika JHarv: 6/10/2016 5:52:44 AMSo I plan to sell a 12 inch sub and charge $10 But, once you've given me your $10, I change it to 6 inches and offer sell you the last 6 by 2 inches at a time for $2 each. No? You wouldn't take that? Why do you take it from Bungie then?
-
3 OdpowiedziYup, everything that has come out for Destiny was the original $60 game.
-
1 OdpowiedźThat horse has to be a puddle by now with the amount of times it's been beaten.
-
4 OdpowiedziGosh how long did bungie work on this game if everyone saying all the dlcs we have gotten is cut and was part of vanilla. Did they already have 10 years of content made and are only tweaking it as we play so they know what to fix?
-
25 OdpowiedziI have ~1500 hours on this game, if they actually cut all this content since launch, Holly hell did they plan too much content.
-
Remember in the beginning of the vidoc and the guy says we can explore that mountain. Obviously we couldn't, but maybe it was felwinters peak he was pointing to.
-
I'm assuming that you're referring to one of the first gameplay videos we saw which showed someone walking in an area that looked like twilight gap. We have no idea if that is the same area that is being released as the plaguelands and my guess is that it's not.
-
Obviously....TTK was supposed be in vanilla as well all the other dlcs. Oh well it is what it is.
-
3 OdpowiedziSeeing as how the game plans to extend over a ten year span it makes sense. The vidoc showed ideas and content that they planned on implementing into the game. None of it was complete.
