Rise of Iron was planned to be in Vanilla
Releasing the "Plaguelands", the area outside of the cosmodrome wall, will no doubt excite fans of the game. But wasn't it already shown in the vanilla game Vidoc?

MoSt of the expansions and dlcs so far were suppose to be in the original game but for one reason or another they had or was forced to break them up.

I think your real problem is with bungies Deceptive nature. We can all agree the game looks great and has a lot of potential that makes us wanna see what's gonna happen next. Curiosity is what keeps us coming back, for all those people who keep saying if you don't like it leave. This game is awesome but becomes unplayable at times and people are defending this because they can't be bothered dealing with it. In the end bungie is prepared to sell you unfinished work riddled with bugs that they cant fix for top dollar. Knowing that people will keep playing out of hope and curiosity.

No. Only everything through TTK was going to be in Vanilla. There is an abunsance of evidence supporting this. Rise of Iron was kind of thrown in. The Devs left the story vague enough so that they could implant future DLC into the story as seamlessly as possible. This is where Rise of Iron comes into play as the Cabal and Vex were supposed to be the next story arcs.

Bush did 9/11 a lot of people say this. But is it true nobody knows. Same goes for scrapped material. Only thing we know most of the dlc in Y1 was scrapped from the vanilla game because activision.

Some concepts are designated as trailers and video reveals, some make it to the actual game. This is a really, really bad allusion to the actual cut content from the original Destiny story. Have you ever attempted to write a book? Probably not, but.. you can't just one shot it. You sit down, and you write notes, and make pieces. Some of these pieces are shifted around or omitted entirely from the final product.. This RoI could even be the first "piece" (concept) of fully created Destiny work, but as to whether or not it would be included in the original story.. entirely up to Bungie. Where it gets iffy is them using said concepts for advertisement or simply to show off certain features and graphics, but it's only iffy to a point. I mean, it stings when you see really dope shit in a reveal (like a cool area) and it isn't included in the final game. However, you must understand that anything you saw before Destiny came out is irrelevant, realistically. What I'm saying is, you got what you bought. Any other speculation would require a time machine to bear fruit.
