So we're the most powerful.
We read the lore and see great heroes such as the iron lords, or Saint-14, etc
But I believe we are the most powerful characters in the Destiny universe, think about it, we killed Three, THREE GODS ,Oryx , Crota, and the heart of the black garden, Atheon, And Skolas.
(I never said skolas was a god, I was referring to oryx, crota and heart of the black garden)

Correction, I think you mean the most disposable. The vanguard leaders go through guardians like used tissue paper. Not to belittle the lore, but continuously regenerating faceless soldiers (# Master Chief) are the very definition of expendable assets.

The speech the speaker gave you? Probably rehashed multiple times, probably thinking and knowing that if the Darkness attacks again, they will not survive. However, your entrance an actions have awaken the stagnation of the tower. Activated the array. Killed the Devils Arkhon and Servitor. Gong back to the moon and reclaiming it. Reclaimed lost and forgotten vital intelligence at venus. Conquered the VoG. Broke the cabal siege on Mars. Decimated the cabal leadership. Quelled the Fallen uprising by hunting down each house of wolves. Defeated Crota. Defeated Oryx. Became an Ascendent. (Let that sink in...) Yes, the Guardians of this era, that means You the player and your buddies, the fireteam. We are the culmination of power. The answer to the two largest powers in the universe, the Light and the Darkness, for these two queens rule are harsh. Yet another queen, smaller, in a tower, shines very bright. "Our goal, not realized yet, is to find the third queen. It can be said that is a manisfestation of the universe itself, not Light or Darkness, rather both, a primodial source if you will..." No. There are those stronger. The elite army of the canal, what we see is basically a tired scouting team. Oryx's sister is now able to go crazy with power since Oryx can't stop her. The Vex will start to study the light and us. The kings are definitely going to cause some problems.

2 OdpowiedziTo be fair we killed atheon because we had the aegis that kabr made, crota we killed him with his sword, skolas isnt a god and oryx we just channel our light to detonate the blights. I wouldnt say we are more powerfull but we sure are smarter and maybe luckier than past guardians. Saint 14 freaking killed a kell with a headbutt let that sink in, peregrine helmet!.

When we die in a dark zone, we just restart from a checkpoint. Imagine how many times you've died in the darkness, how many tries did this one mission/strike/raid take? If when you died in the darkness, and your guardian was gone for good, think you'd still conquer all those challenges? If a teammate is killed in the VoG, Crota End, Oryx's Dreadnought, and the only way out is victory, think you'd achieve it? Are we more powerful than those legendary guardians? Absolutely, but only because the game allows us to be. I think bungie should release a "Guardian Mode", where your ghost can be destroyed by the darkness, and your character is lost forever. That would create the most immersion in my mind, that way I'd be on par with those legends, or be forgotten to time.

1 OdpowiedźThe title and rank of god is a very loose term as far as power ratings go. Plus we've only seen the top of the iceberg.

3 OdpowiedziTo me, we're nothing more than just guardians( hence the name guardians) and freedom fighters for the light. We're powerful and organized enough to overpower our enemies easily. But the real gods seem to be either the 9 or the traveler. We may seem like gods but we're not immune to death (our ghost could revive us, I know). If you believe that we may as well be gods, believe that but I want you to first take a look at the giant orb in the sky that created the ghosts to create(revive) guardians.

7 OdpowiedziWe're they gods? And how could crota be a god of a father that's also a god? Idk. Anyways, the 9 are the true masters. They sold gally and said the 9 do not need it, then you would not have it. So the 9 have something more powerful then a gally. Dun dun dun.
