IB experience so far
I've been in 7 or 8 matches so far.
All of these were losses.
In all but one of those games, I was dropped into a match in progress, in which my team was losing by several thousand points.
The lag is absurd.
People are about a million times more sweaty than they should ever, ever be.
Seriously, when the hell did this happen? Connection issues were always a thing, but never this bad. Straight up SBMM was better than this, [i]and[/i] it was far more fun. And WTF is up with connection ref? It does nothing to people who are actually lagging and completely screws anyone with a slightly latent, but wholly legitimate, connection. It needs to go. So does this pathetic excuse for matchmaking.
Edit: I'm just gonna keep logging my experiences here.

To those of you who say you see no lag, you need to check your connection. There's no disputing the connection issues. If you aren't seeing lag, you're probably lagging.
To those saying "git gud", "go join a fireteam", etc.... Kindly piss off. I can hold my own. I did join a fireteam with some friends. That's not the point. The point is that the lag is beyond belief right now. It needs to be fixed.
To those who get it, it sucks. The matchmaking isn't the best, but the worst thing right now is connection ref. It needs to go.

Get 1.5. Kd then 3.5 then 5.something then 0.3 then 0.5 then back to 1.2. It's like if you have one good match then you'll have 5 matches against full fire teams. Why not let the fire teams face other fire teams. If someone in your group is playing with 2-3 people in their fire team your guaranteed to face a fire Team of 6. Getting old as white shit.

People on enemy team and my team are teleporting ( am I teleporting to them too?) The usual weapons, Hawksaw, Doctrine, MIDA, Last Word. Seeing more fusion rifles is good. The drops are crazy good for me. Still would like to see much less special ammo. I'm fine to losing a primary battle, but 6 players who hard scope, warrior with there shotguns, is a bit much.

I've had a fun experience and gotten 6 fusion rifles and 4 sidearms, leveling me up. You just have terrible luck with connection. Or your lagging so bad.

6 OdpowiedziSeems like the connection ref will punish the entire team for one player with a bad connection - just my experience....yours may vary. I play with one group of friends and I'm constantly shooting nerf guns. Lots of hits but few kills. I play with another group of friends and my Guardian is on steroids shooting single-shot hot death. Anyone else see this too?

Same here op. Had a FrenemyTitan(sup bro) throwing hammers without showing the animation, dude killed a hunter with a hammer from behind a wall..felt good watching a hunter teamate get that hammer lol, but what the hell? There was a 3 to 4 second delay in deaths and enemies would be skipping the battlefield like (little red riding hood). As the match was about to be a win, Bam; connection lost..Bungies servers are a mess.

3 OdpowiedziLast 3 banners I have actually done better with randoms than a group. Every group matches you up against a group for the most part. If you have one or two top 5% players in your group you get matched against the sweatiest try hard groups of the bunch. So if you're going to run a fireteam try to get only people that are average or below in your group.

2 OdpowiedziInstead of complaining about SBMM. Manipulate it. Go into game and die as much as you possibly can and kill a single person. You KD will RIP but the sweaties don't have a KD of .3. Right? SO use this to manipulate and wreck. My friend does that and he hates when I play with him because I bring semi-decent people in.

So much lag, ive only had a maybe 2-3 matches out of maybe 15 where there wasnt an apparent issue with lag. Multiple times the laggers were on the top leaders and basically invincible, on the rare chance I actually killed them their death wouldnt register until 3-5 seconds after. If its not lag its a major sweat fest. I actually showered before bed last night from all the IB sweating I had to do just to compete (on top of teammates never playing the objective) worst IB I think ive participated in. Damage ref is a total joke too btw.

I like suffering to get my rank 5 package to only then get -blam!-ed in the ass once again by getting a 320 ghost on all characters... Done with IB I want SRL back... (Not saying the loot was better but I enjoyed it more then this lag fest..)

Opposite experience here. Best ib so far, lag-wise. Several hours last night, team got host booted once (5 of us) and two matches with invincible laggers. The other 80 percent of the time was fun.

Worst group of players I have ever seen in IB. I think many vets have left the game(content/sbmm/etc), and it's left a very high % of the player base, as noobs. And they clearly don't know how to play control.

2 OdpowiedziWinning about half my games. Not noticed any major lag or issues. My 9yr old is playing now on my Warlock. He snipes better than me, guess it's an age/reaction thing....
