[quote]Sometimes people lag behind.[/quote] We solve this by always doing the challenge method. That means only 1 detonation, which basically completely removes people dying to it. If 1 or 2 people do die to the detonation, the rest are more than enough to stagger Oryx the final time anyway. But you know what negates everything? Communication. If your team is effectively communicating, there's no need for you to constantly radar-check. Moreover, if everyone's alive, there's still another person shooting Oryx, and that means you have the freedom to zoom out quickly and check people's positions.

This isn't about making things easy I just think having the option for 3rd eye would be nice. Why not just get perk rerolls on exotics so I can have my role and you can get whatever it is you want

Even back when rerolling was a thing for legendary items, it rerolled the entirety of the perks rather than just the one section you wanted. Touch of Mercy is an exclusive perk. Besides, ToM already has Snapshot, meaning that going out to glance at the radar takes hardly any time at all.

They already do that. Touch of Malice's special effect (Touch of Malice) is already off to the side. However, Touch of Mercy is just as important to the theme of the gun. It just so happens that it doesn't come into play in KF because of the aura. Besides, could you imagine the ridiculousness of some perk combinations with other Exotic guns if we could reroll them? A Mida with Hidden Hand or Army of One plus Explosive Rounds and Triple Tap? Or a Chaperone with range perks? Holy shit, no. Look at how far you're going with this to solve a relatively simple issue.
