The telesto is the next gjallarhorn. Seriously. Try it.
It's the only exotic I run other than in raids.
Oh and did I mention it's an orb pez dispenser!!
Edit: folks let's boost this post please! I would love to know everybody's opinion on this current-gen Needler! Bump it!!
Update!! :-) if you're a Night Stalker run your Sky burners Annex pull that thing out of the Vault and you will notice it is the perfect weapon for the telesto! It is nuts how fast you get your super back and all the orbs you pick up gives you 100% chance of a special weapon round. I used to think that exotic was pointless but oh man was I wrong!

1 OdpowiedźNightstalker + bad juju + graviton forfeit + any rocket launcher = very quick supers... I've been using this combo recently and I can literally have my super after every mob that has 4 or 5 members to it.

I hate fusion rifles, as a general rule. Wasnt impressed when i got Telesto at the start of TTK. Then i tried it. Oh gods, the kills ive racked up with it! Multikills in Crucible, massive multikills in PvE against tethered groups (the Undying Mind strike springs to mind) and just...wow.

2 OdpowiedziSHUT THE -blam!- UP What are you doing man, you are breaking the secret Telesto society rule #3. Don't tell others about the power of the Telesto. On some real shit, I love this gun. I have a hard time using any other special besides it. I swear in IB after running a few matches ppl start pulling it out after seeing me use mine.

3 OdpowiedziI hate it when I encounter it in Crucible. I feel like it is the new Thorn. All they have to do is shoot near you. And when all the little bombs start going off you are dead. If you are on a tight map, and someone sees you on radar, all they do is shoot the wall hoping you are around the corner. Or that you continue into the mess stuck there.

1 OdpowiedźSkyburners is a fantastic exotic that not many people use. This + blood bound tether + sword = orbs for days. It has a nasty bug though where if both your super and special ammo are full it still picks up orbs.

Telesto is a beast in void nightfalls and that's it. Snipers do better during the specialist modifier. Skyburner is one of maybe the worst exotics to give a hunter. They have great supers that are encouraged to be held for special ammo? Nah I'd rather shoot tethers than more special shots. Plus when you're full special ammo you still pick up orbs, sounds like a huge flaw if you ask me. *shrug* Use Raze Lighter, there's your Gjallarhorn.

4 OdpowiedziYou have 4500+ kills with Ghorn and only 890 with Telesto. We've had 9 months so far to use Telesto and Ghorn was made obsolete after its 12 month mark. You've got a long way to go to prove its the next Ghorn in the next 3 months. I love Telesto, but it's no Ghorn.
