Where are all those "The Division is going to kill Destiny" clowns now?
First things first - I liked The Division a lot. Especially as an alternative to Destiny during its great Content Drought of 2016. The new Destiny update has brought me and others back and while the update is really just a facelift, I think Bungie did a nice job with it.
By comparison though - The Division has been broken as F. Unless you were exploiting the various glitches ad naseum, you can't step into the DZ without getting gang banged and one shotted. Considering how long the division was in development I'm amazed so many exploits existed and were not addressed prior to release. That said, the problems with the division will take a lot of work and creativity to solve. Even at its worst destiny was never this broken.
In the end, the experience with the division taught me to appreciate bungie a little more and to recognize how hard it is to make a perfect game.

7 OdpowiedziThe division was a lot smaller than I expected. I expected the entirety of NYC. And I certainly didn't expect an end game full of bullet sponges, glitches, a painful loot grind and uninspired incursion. There's a reason the Destiny youtubers have moved on from it. It's simply shit compared to Destiny. The reason people keep coming back here is for the flawless gun play. Nothing on the market can compete with the core mechanics of Destiny, regardless of the other flaws this game has.

How come the dialy challenge only drops 163 rating gears and weapons.. How can I progress without getting my ass kicked in the darkzone by rogues?? I'm stuck at lvl 171 rating!

Me too! But I'm back at Destiny. Division is just...exactly the same all the time!!!! I got bored of it. Still, I have 103 hours into it, but it will never approach 1000.

They realized that destiny is still amazing and came back. Either that or maybe they just got tired of being dorks and went on to enjoy the division.

The April update really helped bring a lot of players back I think. I'd compare it to say an ex gf calling and telling you she got a boob job and and wants you to come over. Don't tell me you wouldn't go!

I like how everybody is saying Division is trash like its a fact. When will you people learn the definition of an opinion? People enjoy Division and people don't. Just because you think the game is trash doesn't mean the game is actually trash. Just like not everybody thinks Destiny is the best game on the market.

24 OdpowiedziMe and my husband bought two copies of the Division because are clan moved onto it. We played for a week tops and hated it. There was so many problems. We traded in our copies for Destiny. (We sold our copies of Destiny around Christmas to upgrade our 360's to One's.) The Division is [u]trash.[/u]
