Its cool. Its just another major historical figure on currency. News Flash; I will prlly change again in your life time. Its not that big a deal. Ya know; If there are aliens watching us; theres no way they would come down here. I mean people on this rock cant even handle different skin colors.

i wouldn't say agreeing with trump(hes just stating the obvious) they replaced andrew jackson; who's directly responsible for the trail of tears act of genocide vs the US native american's with an african american historical folk hero (while an african american president is on his last legs of acting in office president) so yea it's entirely based on political correctness and addressing an issue the entire native american race has been pressing for the better part of 30-40 years.

I agree

3 OdpowiedziI kind of agree...out of all the people who deserve a spot on our currency, they give it to a her just because she's a black woman
-
1 OdpowiedźWell it kinda is just political correctness, but honestly I don't care that she's on the $20 bill. She's probably earned it.
-
3 OdpowiedziCan I just say right now that regardless of your position, we can all agree this bill will be the template for so many memes?
-
1 OdpowiedźIt's just catering to black lives matter and feminazis

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika AurumPrimavera22: 4/22/2016 6:31:20 PMThe bill is being changed because of political correctness, not because there was a true want or need for a change. While I believe it is always nice to have change and we should change the bill just for fun, the reason behind it now is solely political. I am a Trump supporter and agree with his statement and also agree with the changing of the bill #shouldvebeenMLK

7 OdpowiedziI don't mind putting Tubman on the bill but I do believe that it is being done for pc purposes which does annoy me.
-
3 OdpowiedziIt's true. The ONLY reason they are putting her on there is because of her gender. Double points because she's black. There are numerous women who did much more than her but get no recognition.
-
1 OdpowiedźI mean, he's not wrong. Not to discredit Tubman at all for what she did. But there's really no point in changing it now than to appease BLM or what have you. I don't really care what is on the bill, or why, but I can see what he means.
-
2 OdpowiedziIt 100% is. This is a strategy by the left to buy votes. Democrats are the true racists of this country and they always have been. It's why they tried to block Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation. And some you will say well democrats used to be republicans and vise versa. And it's true that views did change but not the views people think. Republicans saw the corruption with government in the railroad industry. They switched their views to smaller government and more freedom to the people. You can guess which way democrats went.

27 OdpowiedziI like how Harriet Tubman is RARELY, If ever, brought up outside of school yet bnow all of a sudden you have all these people saying she deserved it What a liberal bandwagon
-
5 OdpowiedziI don't want depressing looking money. I guess I'll just carry more $10's from now on.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika BlinksAlot: 4/26/2016 1:40:07 AMOn this yeah i do. i have no problem with Andrew Jackson being removed but Harriet Tubman was only picked because she was a black woman. I feel to reduce her to a token like this discredits her abolitionist work and ironically contradicts it as someone who fought against people being bought and sold as commodities is now going to be one of the faces of currency. Furthermore every single face on a bill has almost exclusively been that of a president and the few that haven't have held other high offices so for the sake of continuity this is a move that makes no sense other than as a deliberate PR stunt.

13 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Icedancer: 4/24/2016 10:49:16 PMthey should've put her on the $1 bill so blacks could afford to see her
satire
3 OdpowiedziI would have rather had mlk on the 20$
-
1 OdpowiedźNever forget
-
6 OdpowiedziAs a person of color I will say this: Trayvon Martin should be on the 20 dollar bill instead. Even our greatest president Obama agrees and looks at him like a son.
-
7 OdpowiedziI think Andrew Jackson should stay since he kind of is a founding father as opposed to a slave...
-
I'd prefer Nicholas Cage

I don't have an issue with her being on it, but it definitely reeks of political correctness. If you disagree, ask yourself this question: Why not MLK or Susan B. Anthony?
-
Just don't take 20 dollar notes from bank tellers make it there problem see how long it lasts
