i ran the raid last week, with all 3 of my characters, i dumped it all into my hunter, i went from 320 to 323. i didnt gain any light on the segils.
i just ran the raid on my hunter(first character for this week) and went from 323 to 325. how do you mother -blam!-ers have 335 already?

3 OdpowiedziGetting to 335 is not difficult. People just have to understand the mechanics. Always equip your highest light before getting the loot. If you have 3 chars, infuse into your other chars and do the activities on that char with the highest possible light. Once you're above 330, almost all your drops will be 335. Just use the new mechanics to your advantage
-
I could easily have been 335 across all three toons in a day. I had over 100 exotic engrams saved. Instead I chose to decode all of them, spread them about and have fun. May be dumb but I didn't car that much about achieving max light. But that's how folks did it.

people are listing all the right stuff really, I will just chime in on the idea of always being your highest possible light when collecting rewards. always infuse new drops you aren't keeping into your most used items, and be mindful of your current weakest/strongest light equipment. if your artifact is a few points behind your average light, its time to do an antiquated rune at the court. if your ghost, class item, and special weapons are your strongest items, stop grinding the elder challenge. strikes with three of coins and a vanguard rep booster will probably be the quickest way to hit a variety of equipment slots, other than the raid of course, and remember, when decrypting exotics, one at a time, check the light, infuse, open another, rinse and repeat.

Well, sounds like you maybe didn't get that you should run the raid on one, and infuse that higher light into second char before running 2nd through. Let's say you have a 320 lock...his drops would all be around 323-324...move those to Titan--who should now be 323-324ish, run him through for 325-330 drops, and infuse them to Hunter... With good luck, his armor drops are now 333-334ish. Take him to Court, grab 3 335 artifacts. Take him through challenge and grind for 335 armor drops all day, move them to other chars.

For me ... I alrdy had 2 characters that hit 320 and 1 319 before the update, ... so I begin doing nightfall, and lvling up factions... that helped me go to light 323 with 1 character.... then I proceed doing challenge of the elders and court of oryx for an artifact... that helped me go to 325... finally I did the raid with that light... wich helped me go to 329... now also used aome 3oC for exotics... At the end.. I had spare armor for the other characters and I infuse it on them to give them an advantage... and proceed doing the same I did with the first character.. that way 1 hitted 331 with the second and 333 with the third.... A plus was also playing trials of osiris.... went to the lighthouse and 1 become 334 As you can see and to make it short... theres plenty of ways... you just need to find your own path

For me. I did my nightfalls last week. Farmed hood of malok to get hight light helms.. did a raid in on character. And i infused what i got in that character into the other.. and so on into my 3rd character. I ended up w a 334 hunter last week.. played a few strikes and got lucky and got a few peices at high light. Its easy to level up and hit 335.. you just have to know how to do it. N i still need to complete a raid on my warlock this week.. so my advice is to keep hight lv items until your ready to infuse to 1 character

1 OdpowiedźFarm challenge of elders over and over

The raid challenges are raining loot. I did oryx yesterday and got 4 helmets above 320, 2 primaries above 320, 2 artifacts 5 light above the light at completion, and 2 class items above 320. I don't know if this is the usual or if Bungie's RNG is just trying to ride my dick to play more, but that is insane. I can totally see how someone can reach 335 already if these are normal drop rates.

I wish I could be 335 but I don't have hours that I can pour into Destiny or any game at the moment. I just hope that the people who are dumping countless hours to speed run to max light don't forget their other priorities in LIFE! Be smart. Have fun.

Three of coins. Exotics drop higher than your current level. Infuse. Make sure you are maximum light when decrypting engrams, opening up any packages and bounties. In the raid make sure to be max light before touching your drops or chests to ensure the highest drops possible.

5 OdpowiedziLuck. I havent gone up much since the update, and i always use my highest light level. It took a week for 3oC to start working for me, and even at that, the loot still sucks.
-
Raid/faction/saved exotics/trials/court/strikes strikes alone can get you all but chest boots ghost and relic just play the game instead of scratching your head wondering why your friends are higher light
-
You don't even need to raid dude. I went from 315 to 332 and climbing through preparation and some educated grind activity the week after update. I'll be 335 quite soon when I have opportunity to play again. Best tip is ensure you have your highest light gear equipped at any point you could drop loot. Do PoE, Trials, Nightfall Court of Oryx, Crucible, drop 3oC's, level factions and just have an overall awareness of what you need to achieve and where to do it. Saves a lot of grind. The patch notes and streams also explain where to get all the gear from.

Rewards are based on your light level up to 5 light ahead

I got my Warlock and Titan to 335 easily by doing everything in the week; Shaxx Bounties, Raid, Trials, CoE, Ranking up factions, Exotic Engrams. Believe me... If you just keep doing these easy activities you'll be there in no time.
-
It's easy enough if you had some engrams saved up, do the hard raids before Coe and bam job done. Pass extra stuff collected from raid to your next character. Also if you didn't grind the Coe last week for ghosts and class items you missed a trick as it was simples. Open engrams and collect drops at highest light.

2 OdpowiedziI was 335 by Saturday on all 3 characters. I had saved about 30 exotic engrams and infused them wisely, I had edged all my factions to get better gear with juat a few saved bounties, then did CotE to get the gear, grinded a bunch of strikes for the exclusive gear and to use more 3 of coins, and did CoO for the artifacts. When I did the raid finally later in the week I was already 334 on all characters so most, if not all, my drops were 335. It's all about that grinding the boring stuff, man.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Gus: 4/20/2016 2:58:22 PMProbably saved a ton of exotic engrams or their regular 3x week raid runners.

3 Odpowiedzigrind for strike exclusives three of coins farm challenge of elders for ghosts, class items and the exotic special weapons

Well on a couple of days last week, I just ran strikes and did everything. I got up to 334 before the reset. I need another run to get my to 335 this week but thats about it.
-
CoE Trails Engrams Nightfalls Bounties + leveling up in factions to get packages
-
Exotic engrams Most of them stored aloooot of exotic engrams
-
Last week I ran CoEs on all three characters dumping my armor from the first into my second, second into my third and so on. After that I had all 3 characters at 324. Then I ran the raid doing the same thing. After the first week I had all 3 331. Now I have all 3 334 and still have 2 CoEs left to do along with the nightfalls. You want to be the highest light possible when you do each activity or open any packages

Pick up all loot/packages at your highest possible light level
