If you abandon a heroic playlist strike as soon as you join...
...you're a dickhead. I understand that you may have done a specific strike loads of times and may just hate doing it, but you are still a dickhead. I've just had 4 people leave the darkblade strike and now I have to solo it. Oh make that 5 now. I had the same thing happen yesterday three times. If I get a strike that I don't like I still do it because the rewards will be just as good as any other strike.
Edit: Make that 7.
Edit 2: Someone left on the next strike as well.
Edit 3: Dickead is a bit harsh. More of an annoyance.

When I was running heroics regularly, for about two weeks, I only ever got Mars strikes, specifically Valus and Black Garden. After running those two back-to-back four times in one session, I don't care if I'm a dickhead, I'm not doing it again

4 OdpowiedziI've only been leaving because i wanna try to get that Taken shotgun, but for some godforsaken reason i almost never get the Archon Priest strike in the heroic playlist so i end up leaving and joining strikes constantly. I do, however, realize how much I'm annoying people

2 OdpowiedziI barely leave strikes but I understand when people do. They should just make it possible to choose what strike you want to do and then be able to change whether or not its heroic.

The problem is, they added new strikes with new strike-exclusive drops that people are grinding for, and the only way for people to access these strikes with the highest chance of a reward, is in the heroic playlist. Bungie seem to want to randomise everything for some reason, and it's a little annoying.

I have yet to see this happen on PS4. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I played 3 strikes in a row where people left within the first 10 seconds, and all 3 of the strikes were different, so I couldn't figure it out. It's weird. I'll luck out and start a strike with two randoms and we'll play 3 or 4 strikes together. Then I'll try to start up a strike a while later and 4 or 5 times in a row people will leave within 10 seconds. I'll leave the strike, boot up playlist again, and start a new one with new people... that leave 10 seconds after the strike starts. There just seems to be an increase this past week. Is it because people want to do the new strike?

I've been grinding strikes since the update and I have finished about five strikes with all three people. Some of the heroic strikes are a pain to solo (shield brothers is the worst). I've had to leave several strikes because I'm the only one and it's not worth the extra time spent soloing. Yesterday, people backed out of 90% of the strikes I started. The solution is to make the vanguard streak more powerful and make it stack. It should also apply towards strike specific drops. Let's face it, when the game checks the "legendary " block my giving you a class item engram, it just makes you salty. Vanguard streak should reward grinders more.

I just do it for undying mind. It's seriously the most heavily weighted strike or something because I get it constantly.

Nobody gives a crap about the dark blade strike. In my opinion only the 2 new strikes, omnigal, and the vex strikes (for imago loop) are worth doing
