Why is everyone quitting strikes?
At least 75% of the time I'm in a heroic strike, my teammates quit, new ones join, quit, and repeat. This seems to be new as of the update.
Why are people doing this? Are they trying to farm a particular strike or something? It's getting ridiculous having to solo every strike every time
Edit: After 50+ replies saying "because winter's run" that makes sense. Wish Bungie added the taken variant to the map so I could still farm the heroic playlist for exotics and high light drops. It goes so much faster with actual teammates...

Because everyone wants to do the archon priest taken version dude ... they keep quiting because of that or because of the repetitive bullshit of doing the same strike every other one ...needs more variety ...has become stupid

3 OdpowiedziQuitting strikes is happening more frequently now because of the revival of interest in Destiny since the update. When I was in the Taniks strike about an hour ago two gamers quit the strike as soon as it began. A much more frequent problem I have experienced recently is the quantity of AFK gamers. It is now the worst that I have ever seen in all the time I have been playing Destiny, and it is really frustrating! Last night myself and another gamer had to leave PoE 41 because the third player went AFK. With just two of us left, we couldn't work fast enough to disable the mines and kill the ads.

1 OdpowiedźThere is absolutely no reason to leave a heroic strike, period. If there's a specific strike that you are trying to get loot from, do the base version of it. Strike exclusives have the same drop rate for all strike levels (except the nightfall). If you're trying to use 3oC's, do crucible. Games are much shorter and still meet the 5 min requirement. I'm sick and tired of someone either being afk or leaving immediately in EVERY SINGLE strike I do. There's no reason to do the heroic playlist if you aren't going to play half of the strikes.

I generally run them all unless the other guys are annoying me, i'm left alone when they leave and the game doesn't give me a new team, or if it's the shank mission on the hardest strike list and it's going nowhere fast.

2 OdpowiedziThey've always done that. Some people bitch out on certain heroic strikes, especially SABER and Omnigal. If it's happening more, they're probably just looking for Winters Run, like others have said.
