Having to re-earn the Fallen-exotics is just plain BS
Safe to say Y1-players went through enough with the Elder ciphers during HoW, not to mention the exotics we got were viable for only a couple of months before TTK launched. Now we have to re-earn the same exotics in a gamemode that doesnt even support matchmaking? Sorry folks, I really like the update but that was a completely unnecessary BS decision.

Good news is that you can solo them just for the exotics/ end game drops/3oC from boss in about 15 minutes. I got all three exotics, multiple cloaks and ghosts.

This really p!ssed me off because I ran Skolas back in the day and got Queenbreaker and wanted a year 2 one ever since Taken King came out. Now I have to run PoE AGAIN and get it back as a year 2 gun? F**k that! It is an exotic that I earned and should be in the blueprints so we can I can get it again.

I have a post saying the same thing only I went a little deeper: I paste it here for your ease of reading: So the Lord of Wolves, Queenbreaker's Bow and Dregs Promise are now locked into the post game carnage report of challenge of elders (and possibly Xür according to the armoury), meaning those of us who put the time in to earn them have to do so again (with no matchmaking...). This is a bad idea, it is insulting, it is frivolous, pointless, disrespectful, disrespectful of our time and downright stupid (i have no better word for it). In addition, I'm tired of being locked out of content based on nothing, or because matchmaking is deemed a strange and backward idea for things PEOPLE ALREADY MATCHMAKE one way or another. The people I play with have left this game (making my gameplay harder with this lack of matchmaking), stating that they can't stand the grind (this has gotten better in some ways it must be said) which is unrewarded by a continual process of making the hard work put in mean nothing. One of them was so excited to have the Lord of Wolves coming to Year 2 he was coming back, but now he knows he has to re-grind the weapon he spent hours trying to get in the first place he isn't. They left for games they felt more rewarding and more fun, and now I'm at the point of finding this game tedious and unfulfilling. I've spent hours just going through gear, trying to find someone to raid/trials/etc and I'm so tired of it. I honestly feel like this has all been a waste of time, money and life right now. I don't have any suggestions (other than what should be obvious, given my post history), and don't know why I'm writing this, and before someone says 'it's just a game', do remember we play games to escape reality, to find joy as others do in playing/watching sports, to be immersed in a truly interactive story; so whilst it is 'just a game', it is also more than that, or at least it should be. I see where you are coming from, but I personally would choose to make ppl re-ern all the raid/arena exotics if they brought them back to current lvl. Giving us incentive to play the game and do activities many ppl want to experience at currently lvl isn't bad.

The best part is? They told us at the end of year one to get all the exotics so when they unlock the y2 versions you can buy them in the kiosk instead of having to regrind for them. So my dumb ass spent time trying to get all the exotics, and I did except for dregs promise and necro (and if you played year 1 you'd understand why), only to find out that it's not true.

I agree. But it's an obvious marketing strategy to present old content as new or updated. At least the leveling has been apeed up. Now we need a vendor to sell upgrade materials for armour. Also the ammo draught nerf has to be removed asfap. We need CoE matchmaking NOW!

I hit the jack pot last night and got the Queen breakers and lord of wolves on back to back challenges so maybe the drop rate will be high for most people

Totally agree with you. Year one beta player here and I haven't played since the division dropped. I didn't much care for poe when it came out the first time and I don't see any reason why I would come back for that. More rehashed content. This is getting to be a pattern for bungie sadly. Perhaps next update we will run the prison backwards starting with the boss round and getting easier as it goes! Sorry, I had to say it. Lol I might come back for NEW content but given bungies track record with this game I simply don't trust them anymore to make it fun for me sadly. For me the point of the game is to have fun while grinding which I feel they have taken away from me with gear and weapons that they have destroyed.
